Anon is a Trans Inclusive Radical Sexist.

[–] 0laura@lemmy.world 95 points 1 month ago (1 children)

the correct word is TIRM. trans inclusionary radical misogynist.

Trans-radical inclusive misogynist doesn't quite work, unfortunately.

[–] ClockworkOtter@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Transphobic Radically Inclusive Misogynist

[–] Zagorath@aussie.zone 11 points 1 month ago

I don't think that really works since the entire point is that they're very much not transphobic. They're explicitly being accepting of trans identities.

I think that leaves too much room for sympathy

Those damn TIRMs and their Conditions

Let's crunch the numbers, would it be financially sensible to pay for m to f transition of Employees, so you can pay them less in the long run?

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 45 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] Phoenix3875@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Mandatory MTF transition as a job requirement on the horizon.

[–] odium@programming.dev 9 points 1 month ago

Maga hats say this unironically. It's a Republican scare tactic.

[–] general_kitten@sopuli.xyz 36 points 1 month ago

With 27% pay cut and the employee having a 3000/month salary and them working a decade in most cases yes

[–] SirBucksworth@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

„So John… Listen. We‘re not enough revenue to pay you your regular salary. Either you cut off your d*ck, or we‘ll have to cut you off“

[–] Roflmasterbigpimp@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I like that cutting his Pay as man is no option whatsoever

[–] ADTJ@feddit.uk 11 points 1 month ago

Now you're getting it!

I was just thinking today that nothing has been more affirming to the masculine parts of my identity as how much of a little bitch I am when I catch even the slightest of colds.

[–] rustyfish@lemmy.world 36 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I’ve broken just about every bone in each arm and leg. I’ve seen my own blood more times than I can remember and my own bones peaking out my skin twice. Cuts, bruises and minor burns are generally ignored. One day my clumsiness will kill me, because I refuse to learn. At least I will go out proud.

But a cold will fuck me up every single time. Sometimes for days. And yes, I will whine all the time nonstop.

[–] TheBat@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'd rather have a broken bone once if it means I'll never catch cold again.

Broken leg for couple of months is preferable to blocked and runny nose.

Fuck cold.

[–] ClockworkOtter@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

When you're not trying to move the affected bone, it's easy to forget about a break. With a cold you're reminded with every breath, every swallow, and every time it makes you sneeze or throw a coughing fit.

Yep, not a fan!

[–] atro_city@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I don't keel over to the flu. Maybe the bitch here is just you. No need to generalise.

[–] weker01@feddit.de 22 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Have you considered questioning your gender? Maybe you just aren't manly enough. If you try hard even you can be a manly little bitch while having a cold /j

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Some people are just outside norms. You definitely have that main character syndrome that most men have though; can't take something not being about you or describing you perfectly and personally as an individual for a whole five seconds without stomping your feet.

But do you keel over to the common cold? Stay on topic!

Reducing the pay and benefits of your best computer programmer/IT person is not a good move, anon.

[–] Jumuta@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 month ago

dw there's a furry in the workspace

[–] dch82@lemmy.zip 15 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Nah, the real best IT person is working in the basement and hasn’t come out since 2003

/s

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

That person is at home working on personal projects and occasionally checks on the automated systems they set up in the basement 20 years ago

"I have no problems with my computers" - "None that you noticed yet"

[–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Who's saying it's their best programmer/IT person? It could very well be their head of HR or legal counsel.

[–] duckythescientist@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's an in joke and a genuine trend that there's a large overlap between programmers/IT and trans women.

Ah, ok, I wasn't aware.

I was trying to make a joke that they were such a chad that they'd do this to their legal/HR team.

[–] Squirrel@thelemmy.club 54 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Be sure to mansplain things to her, too. Oh, "mansplaining" is when you assume they are ignorant about a topic and start explaining it as if they are clueless.

[–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Thanks for pointing that out in case OP's employee is in the comments.

[–] dudinax@programming.dev 48 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Don't forget to pass her up for promotion.

[–] Drusas@kbin.run 4 points 1 month ago

And talk over her in meetings, and then suggest her idea as if it was yours.
