I think it mostly depends on the type of twins they are, most notably if they share a heart as a shared heart could supply oxygenated blood for both but if they have their own hearts(and lungs) their blood circulation might not be sufficiently interconnected(if at all) to supply both

Id say as someone who enjoys sleeping in the same bed (often with people who i am in a non-sexual relationship with and sometimes in a bed not designed for two people) it has kinda the same effect that cuddling with a person(sometimes it is just that) for a very long time so it just feels nice and has you rested in a completely different way. I do agree that the sleep quality often suffers a bit so i wouldn't likely want to sleep like that every night.

Technically excretion does lower the total thermal energy of the body as it is leaving your body with the excretion, but it does not really in itself cool down the temperature of the body as the temperature is the same as your body (unless you define cooling down as negative change in the thermal energy needed to remove to lower object's temperature to zero K). Though if for example you drink cold water it does cool your body very slightly and urination could be thought of as dumping of used coolant.
The water in my community also has a dangerous chemical added to it. it is found in all of our food, accumulating in our bodies. In world war one it was a large risk for soldiers as it could cause a disease that makes your limbs start to rot away. Many buildings have to be dismantled because of exposure to it. In humans it has been shown to cause swelling of cells possibly even killing them and also asphyxiation. It has not only directly caused countless deaths but research has found it in bodies of every single dead human.
