It's honestly really odd to react like this to this incident. It's like he's jealous Trump was getting too much attention

The sympathy campaign begins

[–] PseudorandomNoise@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

From people who already supported him. Wake me up when polls shift.

Baby fuckers unite!

Dude literally watched the Super bowl in Rupert Murdoch’s suite.

Hangs out with Ken Griffin and the Saudis.

I’m shocked! Just shocked I say!

He did before the shots were fired. But he does after too.

How tf does being shot make anyone more qualified to run a country? I don’t get it.

[–] maniii@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

check the notes on the German / Weirmar Republic politics. Fun Times Ahead!

Centrist with no critical thinking will see this as an attack by the democrat and will vote against them.

People who can't bother to vote will somehow inspired to came out to vote because they saw a candidate being shot and stay strong.

Musk, an opportunist, see this as a money making scheme because he now has future president on his side to manipulate the law for.

I appreciate the answer and understand this is how it will be interpreted, but that doesn’t answer my question.

That’s ok though, I know what you’re getting at. What i asked was exactly how getting shot makes someone more qualified. It was rhetorical.

The answer is it doesn’t, but people are going to interpret it that way and that’s stupid.

Did Elon mean to say he's fully engorged after this?

I thought he was always sweet on the orange rapist felon.

And in other news, 2+2=4. Seriously, anyone with eyes should have realized years ago that Apartheid Lonny is a right wing loon.

[–] PedroMaldonado@lemmy.world 27 points 2 months ago

Yeah...listen to the mega rich carpet bagger. HE knows what's good for you...

[–] mycodesucks@lemmy.world 25 points 2 months ago (1 children)

So this is the laser-like focus on the future of Tesla that 56 billion dollars bought, huh?

[–] maniii@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

After Nov2024, guess who will be in the office to deck Motorcade One with Cybertrucks to stop bullets!

[–] skulblaka@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 months ago

Stop bullets? That thing couldn't even stop a baseball that they threw at it during their own unveiling event. Shattered the window instantly live on stage.

The tweet...

[–] pivot_root@lemmy.world 24 points 2 months ago

This is about as surprising as finding out water is a liquid.

“Now I REALLY don’t want to pay my taxes. For sure.”, stated Musk

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago

Careful not to point out anything about Elon Musk and how supporting him is supporting things like donnie and Project 2025, lest you be accused of being in some kind of "bubble", LOL.

(Apparently I hit a nerve the other day. :) )

[–] skozzii@lemmy.ca 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

There it is..

to nobodies suprise.

I wonder how the Musk fanboys are gonna handle this one.

[–] sheogorath@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

The fanboys who are still sucking Muskrat's dick off is also a Trump dickrider since the beginning.

Because MAGA dweebs were the ones buying your EVs and rooting for your whole Mars shot...yeah...smooth move.

I'm torn because I still like the Starship project and want to see where it goes.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

At this point he's more concerned about federal investigations into his dealing with Tesla/X and Trump is his get out of jail card so he doesn't end up like the Theranos CEO

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Elon Musk announced on Saturday that he "fully" endorsed Donald Trump minutes after gunshots erupted at the former President's Pennsylvania campaign rally.

"I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery," the tech billionaire wrote on Saturday.

Musk also posted a widely shared photo of the former president being escorted off stage after gunshots rang out from the crowd.

The image shows Trump with blood on his face while holding his fist in the air.

Later, Musk also commented that the "last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt."

However, Bloomberg recently reported that Musk donated an undisclosed amount of money to America PAC, a super political action committee working to elect Donald Trump in 2024.

The original article contains 202 words, the summary contains 121 words. Saved 40%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
