I'll still be here. I usually just do this during my daily peloton ride or at work when I'm bored. It's easy.

It's definitely a confusing system. In the US, you are not automatically registered to vote. You have to register by certain deadlines before the elections, but can also cast a provisional ballot if you had issues registering or find out at the polling place you aren't registered.

I had to re-register as Dem to vote for Bernie Sanders in the 2020 primary and then back to NPP after.

Here's what it means to register as NPP (No Party Preference)

Well, I'm in California so it's going solid blue. My vote was always going to a third party candidate. I'm registered No Party Preference. I left the corporate Democratic party after 2016.

Do I want Trump to win? Hell no! I've been calling for Biden to be replaced because I genuinely don't believe he can beat Trump. Newsom or Whitmer are the two I could see possibly beating Trump. I still think it would be a really close race with either of them but better odds than Biden.

Sidenote, I still vote mostly down ticket Dems for local and state positions if there's no other parties running for those positions.

I've been saying this for months now that they need to replace Biden. People here just called me a Trumper for criticizing Biden. And now...

Congressional Democrats are to hold an emergency weekend meeting to discuss Joe Biden’s tottering presidential candidacy, after a primetime television interview failed to dispel doubts triggered by last week’s debate fiasco.

Hakeem Jeffries, the Democrats’ leader in the House of Representatives, scheduled the virtual meeting for Sunday with ranking committee members, according to multiple reports, even as Biden struck a defiant posture in Friday’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

I once flew out of Phoenix and they delayed the flight because it was 117°F. They said it was too hot for the plane to take off.

The potential charges, says Marianne Lake, CEO of consumer and community banking at JPMorgan, are a result of new regulatory rules that cap overdraft and late fees. Lake says Chase will be passing along those increased expenses to customers, which would put an end to now-free services such as checking accounts and wealth management tools. And she says she expects other banks will follow suit.

In a post to his social media site, Trump claimed, “I know nothing about Project 2025,” the name given to a playbook crafted by the Heritage Foundation to fill the executive branch with thousands of Trump loyalists and reorient its many agencies’ missions around conservative ideals.

“I have no idea who is behind it,” Trump continued on Truth Social. “I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

The 22-minute prime-time special with ABC was aired in full — "no cuts, no edits, we have not touched it," interviewer George Stephanopoulos said.
