Apparently an amputation isn't serious enough? 🤔

That's just the most recent example. Just giving people housing brushes the problems under the rug and concentrates them, it doesn't solve them.
It definitely accelerated after 110 passed.
"What we need right now is a clear message to the human beings of this household! This message must be howled through every room, echoed in every hallway, this message must resound off every wall and ceiling! I want this home to realize that the food bowls are EMPTY! I want every man, woman, and child to understand that the water bowl is stale and still! I WANT EVERYONE TO REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE LITTERBOX!"
Because they're lying. They have had just over $300 Billion dollars in support from the US over the years, they have enough money to keep the war going until everyone is dead.

Read through the paper looking for sample jokes, found none. :(
But this was the issue with the George Carlin bit that was online. I listened to it, it was a reasonable approximation of George's voice and intonation.
But when it got to the part where it said "I think we can all agree, there's one comedian better off as AI... Bill Cosby." and I went "OK, AI did not write that." AI doesn't get subversion.

I'd think you would end up living differently just because of the scale.
Let's say you were suddenly handed 100 million dollars. Lottery, inheritance, whatever.
I don't know what your annual salary is, but for me, that's 694.4 years worth of annual income.
So "paying myself" my current annual salary, which NGL, is pretty comfortable, it would take 694.4 years to burn through $100M.
Of course interest changes that as well. Capping yourself at whatever your annual income is would likely see your wealth continuing to grow and never shrink.
All of a sudden, a world of possibilities opens to you. Vacation rentals? Screw that, vacation HOMES. AirBNB them 96% of the time (50/52 weeks a year) and that's more money on the pile.
Not only that, she works for a billion dollar multi-national. I can't tell you who, but you do know who they are. They even have union representation in other areas, just not hers.
It's not quite the same as 2016 because then, we had no incumbent President running. It was a blank slate on both sides.
