Spaghetti-Os are disgusting.

I had them again for the first time in probably 15 years and man that shit is nasty. Overly sweetened mildly acidic sludge in a can. The "meat" might be the worst part.
I tried them last year and I have to say they brought back childhood. So many memories!
But when I tried again, they didn’t have the original style without meat. That stuff was vile even when I was a kid. You know it’s bad when chopping up cheap hot dogs to put in it are far above the “hot dogs” style
I... I love them. I don't know what it is but the more processed the food the more I want it. And these things taste like they've been assembled from compounds never actually found in nature.
Did you grow up eating them? My wife did, and she loves this trash, too.
I am disgusted by this and similar canned pastrocities. But I didn't eat it when I was a kid. What I did eat was Vienna sausages. Some people call them viennie weenies where I'm from. They are objectively garbage, but I like them still.
Yep. That whole plate looks like my childhood.
Poverty charqutery.
as if i wouldn't continue eating this no matter how rich i was, only difference is that they'd be more ethically sourced and where possible vegan.
Can confirm, my autistic brain wants this Platter badly
Why is it that autistic people prefer bland processed food sometimes? I'm pretty sure my brother, who is not diagnosed, is autistic and he went like eight years only eating microwaved pizzas and microwaved pizza-adjacent products.
Autism affects how senses are processed, and taste is a sense - some autistic people don't want things that are strong or that vary a lot, preferring consistency instead.
With that being said, it's not a universal thing, different people are affected differently.
The scale of this picture is very consufing.
- The dino nuggies are huge
- the bowl with rings in em seems very smol
- idk how large the face ones are
What is up with this one?
Everything seems normal to me, the mini-pizza might be throwing you off
That's a family sized pizza. Everything else is enormous
Is it a sign that you're not young when you see that and go ugh. How bout some veggies and stuff.
Maybe you haven't aged enough. There's an awkward period in your 30's ~ 40's where your brain is confused and forgets what delicious looks like. Don't worry: you get it back in your 50's.
I’m being all smug over hear just finishing one of my most healthy meals ever. I made tuna steak, roast potatoes, and spinach salad. Lots of bright colors!
Speak for yourself, this platter just gave me a second wind!:))
wait, is liking beige food autistic?
It isn't irl though. Some people may prefer it, but it's not an autism thing.
Because of sensory difficulties, some people with autism may have "safe" foods- foods that don't have upsetting textures or tastes. These are different for everybody, but the foods pictured are pretty commonly inoffensive.
My brain had a really hard time with the scale of the items on the plate. Where does one get a pizza the diameter of two dino nuggets, topped with tiny pepperoni?
Maybe, hear me out, the pizza is normal size, but everything else is just huge.
I legitimately went through a brief phase of entertaining that concept before deciding to use the Spaghetti-O’s as the scale anchor. It’s still entirely possible at this point.
If this is British - and it does look like British tapas - then that could well be a Chicago Town frozen mini pizza. They’re…not great, but they are convenient.
It is British, this is:
- Chicago Town Microwave Pepperoni Pizza.
- Bernard Matthews Turkey dinosaurs
- Potato smiles
- Chicken dippers
- Chicken fingers (all four above by McCains)
- Cajun Curly fries
- Heinz Spaghetti Hoops
- Birds Eye Potato Waffles
It's a lovely bit of beige, and nice for a treat, but I'd rather have something a bit...less processed?
It is British, and it is a complete list of things my 7-year-old British son eats.
British charcuterie
Just need some kind of mayonnaise based dipping sauce and then I’m good.
like mayonnaise?
You son of a bitch. I'm in.
Not enough dark chocolate for me.
Ware your dark chocolate sources, my dear. Apparently Lindt has a ton of metals in it, which is tragic because they're my favorite chocolate.
fresh from the fridge, so you can shave it with your teeth and enjoy the shavings melting and for a moment feeling like chocolate pudding
Idk cant relate, im Autistic and I love spicy foods and generally foods with lots of spices. I would take a spicy Indian platter :3
so... beige...
Council charcuterie - best cuisine in the world
These are probably the least safe foods for me. I can feel the oil just looking at the picture. Sometimes it's hard for me to have a hot plate of food in front of me because of the fumes. Knowing that the smell and the oil are clinging to me.
Is the grid shaped thing at the bottom made of potato or wheat?
Is it a dip in butter and syrup or dip in ketchup kind of snack.
Is that not a waffle? I wanna know wtf the things above it are supposed to be.
Are those waffles?
