Rules
AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).
Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.
Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.
Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.
I hear people say "biblically accurate" all the time, but I always wondered where in the Bible does it actually dictate, accurately, what the hell some of these demonic-looking angels look like?
So there's a few different types of angels described in the old testament. This forum post cites some of the descriptions. The Ophanim description from Ezekiel is the stranger one. Here's a link to the Amplified translation that I like to use to get a better idea of the source.
The pop culture idea that a dead human's soul becomes an angel is a much later creation that is nowhere in the bible. 1. Angels are their own kind of being, humans don't become angels. 2. The old testament describes the appearance of several different types or species of angel, the description of which sound like someone writing down an acid trip. One is described as "wheels within wheels covered in eyes."
Who needs AI body horror?
Oh, fucking gross. I love it, is there more?
Friend sent it to me and i thought it was his, but he just sent it because he thought it was cool. It came from r/ and i think the artist uses the name Legion.
Legion? Handion seems more fitting.
Angry upvote!
Kingdom Death: Monster-lookin-ass turkey.

Good drawing but it's not too late to crop better
Yeah. I noticed that as soon as i posted it. Didn't know whether to edit or delete and repost.
You can edit on Lemmy, I think.
They already have and it's much better now
I love it and hate it.
So, a little bit blursed.
Shigaraki or Mahito?
Shigaraki came to my link first~
Now we know who has been feeding the AI some fucked up material!
Praise the Fingers!
That finger boss in SOTE has nothing on this monstrosity

dark souls boss
I see the artist's logo in the bottom right, but i couldn't find him anywhere. Not even a reverse image search pulled anything up. This Legion fellow is quite talented though.
What the fuckkkkkkk
You're quite handy with a pencil!

Slay the princess vibes.
If shes here on Lemmy, slaying her is probably doing her a favor.
