Swapped my copy of Power Stone 2 for Soul Calibur with a friend of a friend and what was supposed to be a week or so became forever...

I also let a mate borrow MSR on the Dreamcast and when I went over again I found the disc being used as a coaster to someone's coffee...

I used to collect a lot more in the last 20 so years but sold anything not Dreamcast related. That was mostly because of space saving though.

I did manage to get a clone GDEMU before they were in high demand but playing roms loses the nostalgic charm that having something physical has.

I don't have a hard cut-off but I also haven't bought a physical game in some years now because of the price increases. I would love to continue my Dreamcast collection but it's not worth the risk spending so much anymore.

I don't really have an opinion either way for "always online" but live service (games as a service) makes me actively avoid that shit.

It's perfectly fine to "finish" a game (maybe after a year or two) and move on to making the next. You don't need to have a 10 year plan to try and keep it relevant.

The books have been in my "to read" list for so long now but I've never read past the first page...

Fixed. Thanks.

I didn't realise it was a failed Kickstarter. I bought it in early access so I guess they decided to risk it that way and it worked out in the end.

It's a classic and the originals still hold up today.

Rollcage Redux (1)

Rollcage Extreme (2)

No not really but it's all subjective anyway.

I remember RAGE we good the first time I played but I really struggled with it last year when I tried it again. Also John Goodman voiced a character at the beginning and then buggers off never to be seen again...

There are so many reasons why it failed but we all love it so.

This War of Mine: Complete Edition ~~£26.93~~ £3.91 (85% off)

In my opinion one of the greatest games but also one of the saddest. If you already own the game then I highly recommend all the DLC as they all bring some interesting scenarios to the game.

GRIP: Combat Racing ~~£24.99~~ £2.49 (90% off)

Spiritual successor to Rollcage with a great soundtrack.

Earlier this year I decided to re-home and give away my main setup (180L) and focus on this little shrimp tank. It was previously used as a quarantine tank (approx 20L) but now is home to about 30 to 40 cherry shrimp (up from 15ish when I started).
