I have a buddy who does that to me, he's an English major and writes amazing copy. What I don't tell him is sometimes I do it just to get under is skin ๐Ÿ˜‚

And thank you. I'm trying to get better at the whole deal including lighting. Right now I'm getting to wait a few days after I think I'm finished and look again to see what I want to change before I publish it because regularly after I see everything I dislike.

Just like I do on this one... ๐Ÿคท

Oh man, my English teacher would assault me. I meant I don't know this character from any other source like the comics. Fail me.

Those look great! I really like the one where it looks like the start of a fighting game.

And I start with basic shapes, mostly bean shapes and use a reference and make the beans align with the reference. Typically the reference is on a second monitor but I did this one on my phone so I just tabbed between them.

I only know this character from the MCU, I hope there's more!

Still trying to work on the female form in my style. Another attempt, after I did the outline I felt it looked like Domino. So that's how I finished it.

Inspired by Cashmaggot's exceptional line work I did something not within my normal style. What do you think? I can't stop looking at it myself.

Good point, I'll give that a go!

Thank you, I worry that one is overly sexualized.

Not that it matters, but I did all of these on my phone while watching TV with my wife.

I've never been able to really do the female form in my style. I'm trying again, thoughts?

@cashmaggot@piefed.social

I'm not sure I'm tagging you right... Did this work? (I'm struggling to learn Lemmy....)

@cashmaggot reached out to do a collaboration together. I can't stop staring at the line work in Nightcrawler, particularly the hair.

I had so much fun doing this I can't wait to get another opportunity! And mostly I think I made a new friend!! (Not trying to be too forward and all)

You could have probably eliminated the word car and been just about as accurate sadly.

I've seen the AWD version of this get pretty heavily modified for drag racing. It's pretty sweet to see a mini van take down sports cars!

I should have been clearer, I meant the wheel and tire combo. They look like they belong on a much smaller vehicle. And I was alive when this car was new and my memory of it doesn't look like this lol.

Interesting! If you run across it again I'd love to see it.

The wheel to car ratio....

Trying to get a specific emotion here, how did I do?

He's not wearing a shirt because shirts are hard....!?

Thought I'd try a typical comic book stance that's totally weird in real life. I like the lighting but otherwise not sure I like it.

Trying to do the other half of the DP Wolvie movie.

After seeing the DP Wolvie movie I had to draw me a Wolvie. Haven't drawn him in decades probably.
