Rules

AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

Just like the average amount of limbs on a human body is less than 4 and the average amount of skeletons in a human body is greater than 1, my drawings now average more than zero noses. Maybe even half a nose after this?

I used a reference photo my mom took. She's a great photographer and this photo of hers is one of my favorites. I added my own twist and tried to use a brush that gave it more texture. Any ideas on how to get more "paint like" texture from a brush set? I'm thinking like Bob Ross pallet knife on a mountain side effect.

Made in Blender and colour corrected and edited in Affinity Photo. Mushroom is from TVFX Undergrowth.

Used a photo I took of the Maroon Bells just outside of Aspen Colorado as the reference and a reference for the horse/knight and dragon.

Good practice but no way I could do this without the references.

I added some frames in the background with skies and clouds to lighten up the atmosphere a bit.

Left are drawings from characters of a game called Jeanne D’arc. Right is a continuation of studies from Micheal Leeuwe’s intro to drawing book.

*No AI is used in my process. Progress pictures and the Paint Tool SAI file associated with this drawing are here!

After a nearly unanimous verdict on Tumblr, I've decided to give the grown-up form of Goodie tattoos! I had a lot of fun with this drawing. Even though the burger kind of makes him look kinda small. The lore accurate sizing I have for him is that he's around 2.2 meters (7.2 feet) in length with his head alone making up half of that length. So the burger is actually massive! But that's angel magic for you eh?

I've been playing Super Mario Sunshine a lot lately, and it also made me want to draw something bright and colourful. I surprise myself sometimes with how much whatever game I'm currently invested with at the time can influence my style haha. I hope you all enjoy! 😃

This was my first time using alcohol markers. They're definitely different, but I like them a lot. It's far from perfect, but I think it's alright 😊. Note: While this was done freehand by me, the pose and everything wasn't my idea — I used this image as a reference.

@SplashJackson@lemmy.ca, if you’re out there, this one is for you! I had a lot of fun with this one. I may just slap some polish on it and make a sticker.
