Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has joked about body slamming Vice-President Kamala Harris in front of a fired up crowd, and questioned her racial identity.

...

"Do you want me to drop the leg on Kamala?!" he shouts, referring to one of his iconic wrestling moves.

...

Hogan continued to make more comments about Ms Harris including one about her Indian heritage.

Kamala Harris is bi-racial - her mother was from India and her father is Jamaican.

"Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian?" Hogan asked the crowd, before using an outdated and stereotypical greeting associated with Native American Indians.

The video stops after he could be heard saying he "was going to get heat for that one".

Marjorie Traitor Greed approves this message.

Hulk Hogan has a softball sized lump of scar tissue in his ass from constant steroid injections.

I learned that, how you have to too

[–] Wogi@lemmy.world 23 points 3 months ago

Hulk Hogan was the one who ratted out Jesse Ventura when the Jesse brought up the idea of unionizing to the wrestlers.

Never meet your heroes - former hulkamaniac

[–] Hobbes_Dent@lemmy.world 77 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Same here. I should have paid more attention to Andre.

I never watched wrestling, but Andre seemed like a nice guy when I heard about him on the vince mcmahon behind the bastards. Hulk sounded like he sucked.

[–] MeekerThanBeaker@lemmy.world 38 points 3 months ago

Andre the Giant was great in The Princess Bride.

Hulk Hogan sucked in Gremlins 2: The New Batch.

My dad used to run into him regularly when he worked as airport security in the 70s. He was a fantastic kind man with an incredible sense of humor. My dad had lots of good stories about him that he used to tell me about. So, another data point to back up your thinking.

I've never been a fan of wrestling but I loved Andre. From everything I've seen and heard, he was the nicest guy you could hope to meet. There are some great stories about him out there too. There's video of Arnold Schwarzenegger talking about a time when he and Andre were arguing over who would pay the check at a restaurant and Andre literally picked Arnold up and put him on a piece of furniture. And another similar occasion with Andre and Wilt Chamberlain. The Cary Elwes book, As You Wish, about the making of The Princess Bride has a lot of stories about Andre from the cast too. It's well worth the read if you're a fan of the movie.

Never meet your heroes - former hulkamaniac

I was never much of a Hulkamanic, but I was a huge fan of the Ultimate Warrior who turned out to be a huge decroded piece of crap too. My all time favorite though was always Rowdy Roddy, and my second favorite was Da Maniac, but the one time I met him he kept calling me the N-word and gave me a bucket of acorns.

[–] LEONHART@slrpnk.net 14 points 3 months ago

"Aw, you got kids, Maniac?"

"Nah...not anymore..."

[–] KevonLooney@lemm.ee 12 points 3 months ago

For anyone who isn't a wrestling fan, Hogan is universally hated by most fans and people in the business these days. He's a racist, a backstabber, union buster, sexual deviant, and a pathological liar. He will lie about the most easily disproved bullshit. He's a perfect example of Trump's fanbase.

[–] Isa 36 points 3 months ago

How very disgusting, this Mr. Hogan!

[–] OttoVonNoob@lemmy.ca 35 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Notorious racist and wife beater Hulk Hogan, threatens to physically assault a black woman. Nope not surprised at all..

He was like my AllMight as a kid.

Fucking sad. I hate all that time wasted even as a hobby. Piece of crap.

[–] JIMMERZ@lemm.ee 27 points 3 months ago

Mr Hogan, is a racist, union busting piece of shit.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 23 points 3 months ago

Just a reminder, that while under oath in court, Hogan said this:

Hulk Hogan has a 10 inch penis. Terry Bollea does not…no I do not have a 10 inch penis”

Which is a really weird thing to have to clarify one of your lies in court. Essentially he's saying his fictional character, whose penis you never need to think about, ever, is 10 inches. However he himself the real individual does not. And he was asked to clairify this because video surfaced of his best friend filming him having sex with his best friends wife. And his penis clearly wasn't 10 inches.

God another one that can't tell Indian from Native?

[–] paf0@lemmy.world 20 points 3 months ago

Not a surprising move from Peter Thiel's best friend. Pretty much in line with what his puppet Vance said.

[–] ccunning@lemmy.world 20 points 3 months ago

Totally normal and not weird 🤡

[–] chemicalprophet@lemm.ee 19 points 3 months ago

Trash. Ignorant trash.

[–] beefbot@lemmy.blahaj.zone 18 points 3 months ago

Hulky. Buddy. Just go wrank off to some AI pics of her like all the others like you are doing

[–] LEDZeppelin@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago

Secret service, are you listening?

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 15 points 3 months ago

I'm always quite surprised the Hulk Hogan is still alive. He and most of the other 80s/90s wrestlers ploughed through cocaine like Scarface, and I expected his heart to have exploded long ago.

[–] InternetUser2012@lemmy.today 13 points 3 months ago

We all know how big of a racist prick he his, so yeah, no surprise. This clown needs to go away. He was a hero and now he's just pathetic.

[–] cupcakezealot@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 3 months ago

ric flair thanking his lucky stars that he's no longer the most embarrassing 80s wrestler anymore

[–] AncientFutureNow@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago

I tried to post that Andre the Giant newspaper clipping on Facebook and they told me it goes against community standards and if I continued to post it I would be reprimanded.

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 12 points 3 months ago

He tried for Kamela Chameleon and instead discovered the Karma chameleon: Hulk’s has definitely come and gone.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago

you know... I bet Kamala could actually take him in a fight. just saying.

what a despicable piece of trash, though. I feel like these comments are worth a visit from the Secret Service or FBI or whoever handles threats to VP's/Pres Candidates.

[–] Zier@fedia.io 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Mr Hogan has hit his head one time too many. Go take a nap grandpa!

[–] NuXCOM_90Percent@lemmy.zip 20 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Just to make things clear:

hogan did not have a high flying style where he was constantly being spiked on his head. Even his famously "amazing" wrestling in Japan was basically just a bit of grappling and submission work.

This is not something like benoit where an infamously violent and impulsive bully suffered enough concussions (and steroid abuse) that he snapped and murdered his family.

No. hogan's debilitating injuries and constant pain is because he kept jumping up and landing on his tailbone. His stupidity?

He is just really fucking stupid and always has been.

Another washed up nobody.

[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

Remember when Hulk used to rip his shirt off, and he didn’t have to cover his gross old body with another shirt?

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

The more I think about it, the weirder Hulk Hogan becomes.

The fact that grown adults find this performance at a political rally appealing is proof enough there isn't enough in that room to add up to 70 IQ

[–] Stern@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

Maybe Hulkster shouldn't be mentioning race considering racial stuff pretty much made him persona non grata in pro wrestling for years.

[–] blazeknave@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago (2 children)

This motherfucker is not a real American.
