Didn't he get vaccinated against COVID-19?
The earrings obviously acted as an amplifier for 5G signals to the mind control microchips in his bloodstream.

[–] Fester@lemm.ee 35 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I don’t know enough about IV-injected 5G-amplified mind-controlling microchips to refute this.

Then do it! Refute my explanation!

[–] Iheartcheese@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Good. Because that would be communism.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

In that case, now I’m tempted.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Shit, man. It’s just fucking language-it’s not the word that’s offensive, it’s the assault expressing their bitchiness.

They probably tried to wire up Trump but it didn't work because it depends on him listening, understanding, and following what he's told.

[–] xantoxis@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

We'll know if they ever put an earpiece on Trump because we'll see him reach up and turn it off the very second they tell him to say something he doesn't want to.

[–] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

Didn’t the earrings clash with his cufflinks?

[–] Disgracefulone@discuss.online 26 points 2 months ago (6 children)

What's really fucked is how close the polls are still after everything.

I mean I guess the debate can't hurt trump since his followers immediately discard anything he does wrong/bad as fake news or conspiracy.

But Jesus man when is enough enough

[–] NikkiDimes@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I feel like if you still support Trump at this point, literally nothing will change that.

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

He could have dropped his pants, taken off his diaper and shit on the stage at the debate, and he wouldn't have a lost a single vote from his base.

[–] DJDarren@thelemmy.club 7 points 2 months ago (2 children)

A while back, during the election campaign here in the UK, I saw someone talking about how disproportionate reporting by centre/left news outlets on how well the right leaning parties were doing was really good for reminding their audience that a Labour win was not a given and that their vote mattered.

In the case of the US, I think there’s a good amount of that, as well as large a scoop of cope from the right leaning news orgs. Cherry picking their sources means that outlets can present the polling as close, which flies better in the headlines.

Or all that is bollocks, and the US really is a gibberish shitshow.

[–] One_Honest_Dude@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

the US really is a gibberish shitshow.

I'm in the US and I think it's this one.

The polls are, of course, measuring the opinions of ONLY the people who still have landline telephones.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Addressing the “Landline Only” Polling Myth

I set out to analyze FiveThirtyEight’s collection of 400+ primary polls from the past year, closely inspecting their results and methodologies. It didn’t take long to realize that poll participants were actually reached a variety of ways. These included calling cell and landline numbers as well as contact via the internet, text, and traditional mail. So as far as the “landline only” controversy was concerned, that myth was quickly debunked.

it's about the Harris/Trump debate and the theory that she had secret speakers in her earrings

[–] at_an_angle@lemmy.one 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Now I have even more questions. Lol

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Orange man looked bad Black woman looked smart

A ton of theories and ways to reason it came out of conservative spaces, because a smart woman fries their understanding of the world which led to attempts to explain it away. One example was Bluetooth earrings so someone could feed her information while her opponent went on wild rants about inflammatory falsehoods.

[–] at_an_angle@lemmy.one 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Got it. Thanks.

I'm going back outside now.

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (3 children)

How is that game, these days? I’ve heard it’s mostly pay to win?

[–] SLVRDRGN@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's pay to even play, pay way more to win.

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Oh gross. A subscription model.

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

It's even worse. In order to get by in game, you need to pay a bunch of subscriptions.

[–] SPRUNT@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Well... If you play by the rules, the grind is miserable and will take decades to reach lvl 50. If you are willing to break the rules and exploit other players, the grind is much more manageable but it still takes just as long to hit the next lvl. You do have to be careful because the more rules you break, the higher your wanted level goes, and the police aren't really big on taking players to jail, if you get my meaning.

The only current "winning" strategy on this server is to be lucky and/or resourceful enough early in the game so that you have enough money to be above the law. If you hit level 10 and don't already have a few million $ in the bank, you're in for a long grind.

The grind and paywall to a lot of things suck.

BUT the player base is really cool as long as you avoid the PVP areas.

Some shit about pah wraiths and prophets and the liberation of bajor.

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

It's pretty bad when Kai Winn is more rational and level headed when compared to that orange turd.

[–] JamesStallion@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Why We’re Capitalizing Bajor

The Times has changed its style on the term’s usage to better reflect a shared cultural identity. Here’s what led to that decision...

I thought the conspiracy was that she WASN'T wearing earrings, so she obviously had an earpiece in her ear with someone feeding her the answers because she clearly wasn't smart enough to come up with them on her own.

[–] SassyRamen@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

She had on massive earrings, did you not watch the debate?

[–] domdanial@reddthat.com 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

They're saying that the theory was that they were ear ring SHAPED, but actually communication devices.

Laura Loomer's earings did that

[–] Draegur@lemm.ee 3 points 2 months ago

Laura Loomer's earrings are actually the fasteners keeping the human face she stole attached to her head.

[–] Demdaru@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

It's called podcast. She had podcast to have anything mind stimulating to focus on. Sheesh.
