One of the worst things she could do is keep the status quo. Although, of the top off my head, attorney general is the only obvious replacement that needs to be made.
I think the postmaster general is appointed? De Joy needs to fucking go.
The President appoints people to the USPS Board of Governors for a term of 7 years. That board selects the Postmaster General.
But what about Republicans feelings?! We need another ~~coward~~ Merrick Garland so we can keep Republicans happy!!

Rolling my fucking eyes at the notion that it is 'Trumpian' to call for someone to be locked up when they have publicly incited an attack on Congress to disrupt an election.
It's not how the rule of law works. Presidents don't lock people up*, and that's what's "Trumpian" about it. That's quite clear to me.
To equivocate however, the idea that the courts are currently equipped to deliver justice is laughable. Judge Cannon is a clear partisan with too little judicial experience to handle a case like his. The supreme court has been ratfucked since god knows when. I would love to hear her say more about the need for judicial reforms and strengthening the plumbing of our democracy against when we inevitably have to flush another turd this size.
*Except obviously Gitmo needs to be stopped finally, ffs
Wait, can Trump get sent there first? After he dies of "suicide" in prison like his pal Epstein, then we can close it down.
As much as I harbour for him the most intense ill will it is possible for a sane man to keep, I am not satisfied that authoritarianism can be cured with more of the same.

I think they mean the action of shouting it at a political rally to drive emotion, fear, and anger. Very trumpian.
Calling for someone who commits crimes to be locked up is absolutely fine and good.
Calling on a political leader to make that happen is not.
"Lock him/her up" has a very specific history in this context. It was Trump promising that as president he would pervert the normal course of justice to attack his political opponents. That's how dictatorships work, not democracies.
And also already a convicted felon. Let’s not forget that.

2008 Obama? Hell yeah. But 2012 Obama was kind of a slow speaker. His debates against Romney were not shoe-ins. He wasn't as top tier amin his second term as he was in his first.
I uhhhhhhh... never really understood uhhhhhhhh... why Obama uhhhhhhhh... was uhhhhhhh... considered such a great orator. Sure he uhhhhhhh... could uhhhhhhh... clearly communicate a thought, but uhhhhhhh... it fucking took a while to uhhhhhhhh... get it out of his mouth.
This part is true. I think he just had a lot of charisma with it overall. Also, we had Bush Jr to compare him to, which makes anyone competent sound like a genius.

Thank you, dude was the William Shatner of Uh. Now go watch Robert Kennedy announce the death of MLK. Or read one of Lincoln's speeches, or Cesar's. There were a lot of great speakers out their of varying ideologies. Its definitely a talent that is sorely needed in a lot of politics today.
I thought that “apes together strong” was powerful, but I’m not sure if I’d put him up there with Lincoln
Speeches don't include unintentional parts like "uh". And there was no recording of Caesar speaking.
Caesar also would shout one line at a time and wait for people to repeat it for the people father away. I'm sure it was awesome live, but an audio recording would sound very strange to a modern listener.

A classical grammatical rule says: "A sentence must express a complete thought, be able to be written down, and speakable in one breath," which makes a hell of a lot more sense once you get the context of oration.

His debates against Romney were not shoe-ins.
I remember very few quotes from Presidential or Vice Presidential debates. However Obama vs Romney had one of the most memorable ones:
"Please proceed, Governor."
Everyone wondered what Harris had been doing as VP. It’s this. Preparing to be president.
The debate schedule was the key. One at the beginning and one near the end. If Biden had killed the first debate like he did with Paul Ryan, he’s the guy. If not, Harris is ready and waiting.
I honestly think the race was never as bleak as it seemed. The Dems know what’s at stake and have finally woken up.
I’m never going trust that the dems have a plan.
Yeah Harris may have been waiting for her shot, and she’s getting my vote absolutely, but this wasn’t some dem moonshot to beat Trump. I voted for Biden against Trump. I’d do it again. But there’s many people I would have rather had as our president as a dem voter. I think Kamala will do great, and I’m glad she’s up for the nomination, but this was a moment of a good president realizing he’d do better for America by stepping down, not some ingenious dem plan to keep the White House.

Bill Clinton was also a decent orator. He visited Ireland while I was in college and I went to see him speak in the centre of Dublin. Charisma just oozed from the guy.
Reagan was also good on the mic in bouts before his mental decline. The balloon pop "missed me" was God tier.
