There's also a ton of very religious rhetoric being used about Trump now. He's literally becoming the Messiah and a true religious hero fighting whatever evil is out there. God is saving him from bullets and what not. There's going to be some interesting sermons in evangelical churches around the country these next few weeks. Yikes.

This event just shows that anything can happen at any moment. Nothing is a sure thing. Not a Trump win, not a Biden win, and not a win for any other candidate who may run.

Maybe not like kings and queens, but it would certainly help create equality. Having lived in several European countries for many years, it's quite unreal to see the enormous inequality in the US being mostly defended by the people who would benefit the most from its dismantling.

Democratic officials and voting rights groups have warned that, if it were to become law, the bill would prevent eligible citizens from voting.

Isn't their point that they want to make these people ineligible? The cruelty is the point.

It's a fact that Democrats and progressives don't show up as consistently to vote as conservatives. It's just not part of the culture like it is for conservatives.

Trump is a convicted felon and it does not make a difference for his voters. Biden has a bad debate and Democrats are fleeing left and right. That's how you lose elections.

Yikes, it's a long ways down from that high horse.
