You mean like: the DNC picked Harris, nobody voted for her, or she’s a prosecutor/cop who locked away hundreds for dime bags of weed, or somehow linked to her being a “border czar” even though she never was one, or her laugh I guess?

One correction would be claiming that "Putin is trying to fuck the West". It buys into the propaganda that Russia isn't really a "western" nation.
They have an odd bit of propaganda that Russians are "Eurasians", which is just a way they validate and distinguish their history of colonialism from the rest of Europe.
In reality they've always treated their Asian minority population as second class citizens, utilizing them primarily as cannon fodder to expand their colonial holdings.

I can think of at least two accounts that are prolific on Lemmy that almost exclusively post things that align with Russia's PoV. To anyone that thinks it can't happen here, I have some prime vacation property to sell to you in Florida.

When Putin is finally defenestrated once and for all, I'm curious to see how greatly that will affect geopolitics. Like, is Putin some kind of genius here, or will his apparatus be easily inherited by a successor?
No dictator holds absolute power, but divides it under him to counterbalance his supporters. All those supporters think they deserve everything and said counterbalance generally doesn't allow them to squeeze seize it cleanly.
