Usually made for dinner these days but a breakfast burrito comprised of either scrambled or fried eggs, cheese, diced potatoes, with bacon or chorizo, smothered in cheese and a NM green chile sauce.

anything that can be eaten and reached from bed.

Cut a croissant in half. On the bottom half, spread out a healthy serving of a good chicken salad. Sprinkle a tiny bit of red pepper powder for a kick (optional but recommended). Put two slices of cheese on top of this. Put this in a toaster oven, preferably heat from above. Take it out when the cheese is melted. Replace the top croissant half and press down a bit so everything doesn't fall out when you take a bite. Enjoy the best start to your day.

Or just a croissant without that mushy mess.

Fresh-cut honeydew, pineapple and strawberries. I usually have them alongside coffee (latte) with a bowl of yogurt and GF granola.

Leftover dinner. Not a huge breakfast fan.

half a liter of espresso, 3 cigarettes and 70mg of amphetamines.

I wish I was joking.

I won't bother to make it myself, but my mother used to make a very light coffee cake on weekends that I really liked when it was very fresh and hot. Probably have the recipe somewhere. Called "cocoa ripple". Think I've seen it elsewhere.

This looks kinda similar. I'd leave out the chocolate chips, though.

For something that I'd actually be willing to make and like, large portions of scrambled eggs. Throw in some random spices from the spice cupboard and a little olive oil.

Favorite, two eggs over easy, hash browns, hunk of blueberry coffee cake and black coffee. (AKA, BDBIT at Hobee's) Second favorite, one plate sized buttermilk pancake with three eggs over easy placed on top of the pancake, no syrup, just egg yolk, black coffee. (Squeeze In, Truckee, CA)

Square sausage and potato scones.

I usually eat a simple Porridge, but if I want to make something fancy on a weekend I make pancakes for my family.

Sugar and caffeine.

Cereal and toast, but I also don't typically eat breakfast.

[–] 10MeterFeldweg 1 points 2 months ago

A slice of bread with whatever is available to me.

[–] RBWells@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

My usual breakfast is cafe con leche.

My favorite breakfast is a big fryup, eggs, good homemade sourdough toast, home fries, and spicy refried beans. There isn't one best food in there, it needs all of them.

Runner-up grits with butter, cheese, and nutritional yeast, topped with a fried egg.
