They explicitly state that the digital euro is not here to replace cash:

Q3. Would a digital euro replace cash?

No. A digital euro would complement cash, not replace it. A digital euro would exist alongside cash in response to people’s growing preference to pay digitally, in a fast and secure way. Cash would continue to be available in the euro area, as would the other private electronic means of payment currently being used.

I agree. Cryptocurrency will probably never be the solution for this. I am hoping for GNU Taler instead.

Some talk about the privacy of the digital euro has been made. Some people said that your transactions are going to be tracked. Should an european worry about it? Would GNU Taler be a possible solution?

And it's not like the digital euro is some dream, it will become reality soon.

Why is it that people think Linux distros are for programmers or tech people only? This is the reason why we don't get many people on Linux distros.

Lab grown meat that is unhealthy as fuck. Lab grown meat is no longer meat, so you can't call it that.

I want to eat meat that was a part of some animal, not lab grown food.

Hello Lemmings.

I will be attempting to make a federated anime tracker this summer, but I am not quite sure what features people would want and how I would get the details for animes, mangas, etc.

For the latter: What I thought was to either scrape other anime websites continuosly in the background, but this most likely is against the ToS of every anime tracking website, such as AniList or MAL. (I actually asked anidb.net for special access to their DB because apparently you can request access to it, but I've been left on read by the two staff members) My second idea was to make it an anime tracker website where animes are only user-submitted. And the user submissions would be approved by assigned moderators. However, I think this would be quite inconvenient. I'd like to get your opinions and/or ideas for this.

For the former: So if you have any requests or suggestions, please drop it down in the comments section.

Thanks in advance.

Sup, I've been working on this project for the past few months and now it's finally finished. It's a MyAnimeList-based anime recommendation system written in Rust. It's still being trained on the background as I've only started the training today in the morning, so tomorrow, the results you get can change.

You can try it out here: https://anote.asudox.dev

Please give feedback!

I made this bot so that users who want to provide a quick summary of the wikipedia article they linked to in their comment can do so just by including a mention of the bot in their comment, and the bot will reply to the comment with the summary.

Currently multiple wikipedia links are not supported.

I created this bot so people that want to get a summary of the wikipedia article link they have in their comment can just mention the bot and the bot will respond to the comment with the summary of the wikipedia article. (the mention should be in the same comment as the wikipedia article link).

I want to give them money but since my childhood my parents pretty much told me that they are all either faking it or are too lazy to go to work for money. I mean, I guess they can go to work but not everyone gets accepted to work as easy as it sounds like.

This question has been stuck on my mind since last night.

If dopamine signals were (somehow) artificially triggered during negative actions in someones brain through some machine or something, could the brain defy logic and reasoning and perceive those actions as positive?

I heard they were going to release it in August, but nothing happened yet.
