Any project can insert any code they want, that's how software works. The thing about open source projects like Firefox, is if they were to do such a thing, anyone could see it. You're complaining about Firefox when they haven't really done anything, and yet browsers like Brave have actually been caught inserting redirects into their links, which is harder to spot because Brave is not open source.

If you really agree this distrusting of Firefox, just don't use it, or build it yourself.

Basically all from either tumblr or a single small discord server

I assume this depends on where you live, though.

Surprised you didn't mention the commonly mentioned ones, like librewolf, mullvad browser, mull, cromite, fennec

Tanger's latest music video is an example of some of the best kinetic typography and overall motion graphics I've seen. While most motion graphics sequences are under a minute long, this is over three times that length, making it an impressive effort overall.

It's like tiktok but federated

Words take on new meanings sometimes due to cultural experiences, and the new usage of the word is one of those meanings.

Ah. Makes sense then.

as a furry, you're right but - why?

My laptop is running out of storage space and I don't have anything I can remove anymore to increase it by much, so I'm thinking about building a pc. I'd also like to find a better gpu for doing video editing.

It will be the first one I've built, so I don't really know what I need. Also, does it matter for compatibility for Linux whether I go with AMD or Intel?

The high end of what I want to use it for is video editing with Kdenlive or Davinci Resolve, some modeling and animation in Blender, and some light gaming, like Minecraft or TUNIC.

I figure one of these guides might be useful, but I don't really know which.

Is there anything else I should know for setting up a PC to run Linux?

Edit: Maybe these guides from Logical Increments can help actually.

It also asks me to use the app.

I was trying to look up the company where I was thinking of applying, but it said I needed to sign in to view the review, so I entered some fake information. Once I was signed in I went back to the page thinking I could read the review, but now I need to write a review before I get access to Glassdoor!

Just wanted to highlight this project because I've had to take many personality tests for school and work and things, and this is the most accurate one I've seen, and the only one where I feel I'm actually learning about myself from the results.

So if you need a personality test for any reason this one's pretty good.

[FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING] A friend recently showed me this video and oh my god is it insanely beautiful. It's one of those pieces where I can't help but wonder how the artist came up with these visuals. An absolutely incredible watch.
