Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

It's true, I'm so anti-family that I want people to make a living wage with paid parental leave, have access to affordable housing and childcare, go to doctor without declaring bankruptcy, and eat 3 meals a day that aren't made of garbage. I want kids to go to school and learn actual facts and not have to worry about if this is the day they get shot. Me and my cat-sized dog are so miserable with our choices that we want people to have happy, healthy lives even if we don't personally benefit from most of those policies. Fuck families, amirite?

Spot on! Vance seems exactly liked the type to fuck family

Um... yeah We got that that was your intent.

More precisely, we got that you're a desperately insecure loser who's terrified of the prospect of a world in which women are allowed to do anything other than service the fragile egos of pathetic manchildren like yourself, and who therefore haplessly resents and desperately wants to belittle any and all women who might dare to do anything else.

Try to keep up.

Republicans: Dem’s are anti-parent and anti-child

Also Republicans: No free lunches for children, no child tax credits, no child care assistance, get rid of public schools so you have to pay more, nothing to help make children affordable.

Republicans and Christians see children as possessions of their parents. When they say anti-parent anti-child they mean, anti-“be the king of the tiny fiefdom of your family”. They see the laws as restraining parents from being in complete control of their children’s lives, including those that will feed those children because it’s emasculating to the parents and because they don’t want poor people to have any leg up, and almost assuredly because of racism too

Go back to your room and fuck your couch, vancey pants.

What Vance really means is, he hates that people choose a life that works for the individual. He want's us all to be in his christian cult where you must comply with all the things all the other sheep are doing. Welcome to 1984, the fantasy of fascists.

[–] hperrin@lemmy.world 15 points 3 months ago

Yes, wanting every child to have food to eat every day is very anti-child, right? So is not wanting the children to be forced to work in the mines, right?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

Okay, weirdo.
