Under Trump, American cities didn’t get the support they deserved. Infrastructure week was made into a joke.

But under the Biden-Harris administration, Mesa has seen historic federal funding for the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, along with investments to make sure our streets and public transit systems benefit from modern technology.

With the CHIPS Act, Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden are delivering thousands of new jobs to Arizonans and helping us grow critical industries.

Because you don't support criminal, rapist, racist, felon grifters?

[–] snooggums@midwest.social 30 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yes, at least the criminal part.

The biggest focus of the opinion piece was about money and jobs, with a vague offhanded comment about civil rights and the rights of women without saying what those things are.

She doesn't want to lose the nutjob vote, she just doesn't want to let the nutjobs run the whole asylum.

✅ not part of the plan to bring Armageddon:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Mountain_Mandate

"The movement was generally supportive of the presidency of Donald Trump, with member Paula White becoming Trump's spiritual advisor. White claimed that Trump "will play a critical role in Armageddon as the United States stands alongside Israel in the battle against Islam."

I don't use/block twitter. I wonder if #RINO is trending under Giles' feed

Why, as a Lemmy post title, is this text so large?

[–] A_Very_Big_Fan@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

They put a # behind the first letter of the post, giving it the "header 1" formatting.

#Like this.

It's annoying, but I think it only happens in the Lemmy apps.

[–] breadsmasher@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The title is normal sized for me on voyager but

this does format as a header

[–] kamenlady@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

I'm confused, doesn't it look like this for everyone?

The post title was also this big.

[–] breadsmasher@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The title for me looks normal

The comment I replied to had the hash sign without a space so I see it as

#like this

And I posted with a space

# Like this

Thanks, interesting

Poor guy just gave up on reelection. Not enough democrats will see this to vote across party lines to make up for the amount of crazies in his party that will not only not vote for him, but quite possibly send him death threats. I live in rural Arizona, I would love a sane mayor.

[–] die444die@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

This is true. He fell on his sword as much as Biden did.

Edit: well, unless he just recognizes the tide has changed and he is voted back in by the dems in appreciation.

[–] notsure@fedia.io 3 points 1 month ago

You're sane.
