So I'm past 30yo and today I tried to get back into dating. I've joined a discord and most of them are around the age of 20. It feels alien too me to have so many short (1 to 5 words) sentences followed by cat gifs. Not sure if I can do this. I need deeper meaning and longer sentences. :(

I'd recommend you filter by age, and don't date anyone younger than 25 if you are actually looking for a relationship.
25 is already stretching it. I have a good 25 years old friend and he's often talking in Twitch emoji language. No fucking joke.
Discord is tricky because most of it is filled with teens. If you specifically search for 21+, 25+, 30+, etc. communities, you'll have a much saner time in my experience. They do exist out there, but I don't know how many are dating focused.
I'm not mentally ready for over30 parties (but I agree)
Introvert too, still managed to get a girlfriend. There is hope
Thanks bro, I needed this.
Good luck, it's always tough to date past 20s
I'm an introvert. I'm basically fucked
Your username is "send me nude girls" , and you're talking about socializing for dating purposes on discord. You might be approaching this on hard mode.
Might I suggest going out in person? Meetups, bars, shared activities, heck even tinder.
My username is more of a joke than anything. I get the first impression vibes though.
You're right about finding outside activities, I need something to build my self worth.
