Ich mach es über den Emacs Org-mode. Alles ist in einer Textdatei in der strukturiert Blöcke sind. Jeder Block hat ein Ziel wohin der Inhalt soll. Ich finde es übersichtlicher weil ich die einzelnen Blöcke ausklappen kann, alles relevante in einer Datei ist und es nach dem installieren aller Abhängigkeiten, die im ersten Block mit Links aufgeführt sind, reproduzierbar ist.

Hauptmotivation ist aber dass alles in einer Datei gesammelt ist mit der ich anstellen kann was ich will und ich auch die Übersicht nicht verliere was alles den Fensterverwalter ausmacht (oder mal ausgemacht hat wenn ich was ändere und altes als Referenz drin lass). Ob das Mako oder ein Skript ist welches das aktuelle Fenster stumm schaltet, ich muss nicht überlegen wo was liegt.

99% of the planet could produce zero pollution for the rest of our lives and it wouldn’t even make a dent in the amount of pollution created by the billionaire class.

Nein, aber das hält sich in Grenzen, 7,8M bei mir. Systemd journal dagegen kann schnell groß werden, da sollte man ein maximum einstellen. Kann in der Standardeinstellung 10% oder maximal 4GiB groß werden.
