Having completed the finale quest, I have to say I'm not a big fan of their storytelling and pacing in the main quest but I still adore everything else about the update. The Hex and the KIM chat system are amazing, I love the new map and the bikes, the Nyx rework is decent and the new calendar reward system seems promising, rewards are pretty good. The soundtrack is a banger too. The update has been living rent free in my head for days now.

The quest was... Fine, I liked the design direction but the actual narrative was all over the place l, it was pretty good still. Trinity buff slaps, the new enemies are really fun and overall, this is peak Warframe imo...
The PvPvE gamemode is also fun, shame the queue is so long.
I was worried about a Wukarius meta, when what I should have been concerned with was the "people not queueing for PvP" meta.
Quest was neat, fun tileset, characters are interesting.
The new arcanes look like you can build some wacky powerful stuff with them, will be interesting to see how they scale once I actually manage to get one maxed.
I feel like it will take a couple weeks to months to actually see everything there is to see in the update, both in terms of new weapons/warframe/build possibilities and story wise.
The power strength per unique status looks really interesting, especially since everyone can run Damage Decoy now. I'm looking forward to making a bunch of stealth/acuity builds for Ivara too! Phantom Serration might actually make Concentrated Arrow useful again.
I put primary acuity on my chakhurr and domed an idiot for 66 million. I'm having a ball.
Just finished the quest, and I popped off hard at the callback at the end. Like, OF COURSE that character can do that. Immediately afterwards I hopped onto the compy and got flirted with by Quincy in two seconds flat.
1999 is allllllllllright
I really like the consistency of that character being able to do that, and even use the iconic fist slam! I was surprised they can do it there, at that point of time though, but it is a logical continuation so it doesn't feel like that much of a deus ex machina
It's pretty good so far, and I like the shift in art style for the environments. I would be nice if they extended sorties to have the new tiles come up once in a while.
A couple of bugs that I'm noticing are that the map can be a little awkward to navigate when the waypoint marker breaks, and the bounty objectives were slow to load in public matches but had no issues when playing solo.
I like it... we'll see how long it takes for the charm of it to wear off. First impressions are nice but for grind-games what matters more is the staying power.
The quest was really good! Im also loving the new mods & arcanes
I love it! The story was a bit confusing and too fast paced, I wish there was more actual exposition to fill in some obvious gaps that should be clear, but I love the rest. The chats with the Hex is an amazing feature, the new missions are pretty fun (although I still struggle navigating the underground areas), I love the gemini skins, I absolutely adore the backroom and have moved there for good.
I am also enjoying the Nyx rework although I end up relying mostly on her psyching bolts for everything. Absorb/assimilate and mind control are still really underwhelming and I think I'll probably just helminth something over them, maybe even a boring roar since she relies a lot on her weapons.
Got to say that I would've liked it better if the quest itself was a bit slower paced, it felt very rushed, not to mention that it was yet again a confusing mess a la DE style story telling.
The new maps and enemies are nice, although I am kinda done with having to farm standing for a part of the game that I probably won't ever touch again when I'm done collecting everything.
The dating sim is kinda fun, gives more insight and dept to the characters. Something the Zariman could really have used in it's time, not necessarily as a dating sim though.
Found the quest kind of narratively choppy, and didn't love the 10 minute survival or being stuck in not-my-gear, but otherwise I've been having fun. The art direction is excellent, as usual. The magnetic mods are a nice addition, and I'm looking forward to playing around with the new arcanes.
yeah the base excalibur experience was a bit unfun until I realized I could just leave it behind and play my unairu drifter with a 747 instead
So far, it's exactly what I thought Warframe needed, more contexts in which to use the existing mechanics, and mechanical improvements which serve to reinforce rather than change!
The new tileset is HUGE! And the intricacy tickles my ADHD gloriously, it's like getting an overdose of ecstatic information straight into my neocortex! And the enemies are... chef's kiss! LOVE the Scaldra, perfect precursors for Grineer aestetics and ethos! And the Techrot means Infested CRTs which want to kill you, so what's not to love!
Gotta say, though, the jitteriness of Objective Markers is confusing as hell at times, got lost more times than I'd care to admit=)))
The tileset is amazing but I keep encoutnering a bug where Eximus auras can now stack infinitely, so if multiple arctic eximi spawn I get slowed so much its like I have 4 hobbled dragon keys on at once, or the new defence eximus stacking up such that even butchers can withstand damage cap.
The quest was awesome, and the new missions and enemies are nice. The tank assassination mission beat my ass for half an hour during a bounty - i was not prepared. Nyx rework is fun. Can't wait to get to rank 5, eventually.
I tried the SP tank and those poison puddles that appear out of nowhere and disable abilities wrecked me hard, especially considering just how much of a bullet sponge the tank is.
It's not really a bullet sponge if you shoot it's weak spots, I found the boss to be quite fun on SP, actually.
Yep, I gave it a try solo yesterday and it wasn't that bad! I actually did well until the second phase on the secret boss when I just got swarmed by all the eximus enemies during the regeneration phase.
I just spammed my xoris and prayed during that lol
I was copying someone else and using a vastilok for armor strip but yeah, really regretted not going with something that has more clearing power. I might try nukor with fortifier for the next attempt, just for that specific phase
