The oldest known container: github.com/bib/Jonah/Dockerfile

[–] ulterno@programming.dev -1 points 3 days ago

Docker is not running on client machine.

I used to work in local television news production and one of the most common occurrences was something not working, someone calling engineering, and then it starting to work when the engineer walked in the room.

Fear will keep them in line.

That's a universal magic trick, it applies to every industry and situation imaginable.

Happened today with a password prompt. He didn't think he could type the wrong password 3 times.

I have this a a sticker. I also have my machine always ready to ship to the client, if they will kindly return the previous one.

They’re all great. I’m definitely an Arborist.

I love these. I would qualify for Arborist and Valued Contributor immediately.

I had a colleague who could have won the "TeeHee" badge. I wanted to tell them about it but they disappeared mysteriously a few years ago and no one seems to know where they went. Especially not Janet, who always has a shovel in their trunk.

(This is sarcasm. I am humorously implying that a person who changes every line of every file in a single commit, breaking everyone else ability to work, disappeared under circumstances implying that their colleague killed them and buried their body in the woods.

I would, of course, never do such a thing. Okay, my alibi is established, let me get my shovel...just kidding.)

That's just a list of sins.

I'm a proud owner of several "It worked on my machine before I went to bed last night" awards.

Oh yeah, the foundation for docker and vagrant.
