Reminds me of the “Thankful Villages” or the rarer “Doubly Thankful Villages” in the UK. The former for villages where none of the men died in WWI and the second where none of the men died in both wars. Kind of sobering when you realised that the majority of places suffered losses of their men.

Looks like a man went to each branch too. Thats some serious family history right there.

Oh man, that has to be some rare joy to keep having for the rest of their lives.

Sheesh lady. It's a vagina, not a clown car.

Funny, my thought was that her husband needed to figure out what a condom was.

I don't think condoms were popularized in the 1930s.

Edit: Apparently they were around then and just began being mass-produced. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condom

Let's hear it for momma, who just kept cranking them out for about a decade of her life.

Kinda what people did back then. Low infant mortality was a new concept at the time.

Looks like at least one pair of twins, I'm gonna guess more than one set of multiple births among them all.

Got an idea for a movie called "Leaving Private Ryan to take care of himself".
