The article doesn't really get the timing down on the exchange. It really goes like this:

"All of these people, Jake, they came into office thinking that they could control Donald Trump, that when he said he wanted peace in the world..."

"Really?" Tapper asked while laughing loudly.

"And when he found out that he couldn't, they all turned on Donald Trump.".

Tapper continues to laugh.

It's the 'peace in the world' part that made Tapper laugh. Because frankly, that's just absurd.

Thank God people have been laughing in Vance's face the last couple months, and pointing out his ridiculous statements right to him. These guys can't handle being laughed at. Being called 'wierd' set them off for an entire month. They couldn't care any less about being fact checked or what the truth and reality are. Laugh at them, dismiss them. That's how they feel pain.

Didn’t Vader say he wanted to bring peace to the galaxy.

He just scratched his balls, didn't he?

He just got to try out the 2025 Supreme La-Z-Boy Couch models.

He looks at the now meme-like picture of a bunch of guys surrounding a woman on the couch and wonders what the woman is doing there.

That sectional is going to get reamed tonight.

For anyone thinking JD will pull an article 25, I fear worse. They'll just need to keep Trump content and entertained while the rest of the pig fuckers run the country into the ground.

He's peojecting his own intentions here.

Trump is so stupid, he would sit in the oval office clueless all day, without realizing Vance stole his power and is running the country.

Seems like they have no good response to you laughing right at their face. I'd say do it more! I hope they don't win, we'd probably be put on their "naughty list" later.

The response is that they will put them in a camp and/or fucking kill them. That's where this is headed.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago

Only if they win.

January 7th, 2025:

"Watch: CNN's Jake Tapper hanged in Times Square for laughing in Vice President J.D. Vance's face prior to election victory; further executions to come."

no...just no! I refuse to succumb to the sad place I retreated to after the 2016 fail - that is not our future, that is not going to happen! I can not let myself imagine this future and you shouldn't either.

You’re right it’s not the same. It’s much much worse.
