Don't know that it's the right strategic move for Biden to step down over a poor debate performance, but if he does, please remember, everyone - this election is a matter of voting against fascism. Get out there regardless of the Dem candidate. Remind your friends and family. And for Christ's sake, vote AGAINST the fascist.

100% would be disastrous to step down.

1 candidate supports roe v wade ( and a bunch of other common sense shit) the other doesn't. Simple as.

The media circus surrounding it made me feel bleak as fuck however.

Bidens north Carolina speech was better imo

Yes. Please don't let that shi bag win. Not an American but also a victim of a fascist prime minister.

This election? Every election from now on. The fascists won't suddenly give up, they'll just wait.

There won't necessarily be a fascist-sympathetic major presidential candidate every election, but yes, they're a constant threat from here on out.

If he's Republican, what else can he be than a fascist?

[–] PugJesus@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

A corrupt corporate crony. There is a difference - the corrupt corporate crony is the manure; the fascist is the weed. One helps the other (and not vice versa, as every corporate crony eventually finds out in a fascist regime), but they aren't quite the same.

Did Yang not start a centrist party?

He’s a Libertarian in progressive’s clothing.

If he's a progressive, then I'm forklift certified.

(I am not)

[–] spujb@lemmy.cafe 6 points 1 month ago

yeah lol, maybe the headline means he is just aligning with the progressives, not that he is one

Well, I imagine the number of Democrats asking him to step down will increase.
