What a bunch of weird shit to say about veterans. He's like some weird cross between Dr. Evil, Jack Handy, and the Team America version of Matt Damon.
It's also super weird to fixate on the physical attractiveness of people who receive such awards
It's almost like he's a sociopath and doesn't really understand things like bravery, but he understands that other people do see the merit, enough to try to rationalize why he sees no value in it

Nice swipe at veterans there. Basically his new version of calling the dead soldiers suckers while visiting Arlington. And love the slight that it's better to have the medal with the word "President" in front of it instead of "Congressional", because it feeds his narcissism.

"She got it for..." And he cut himself off? She got it for what, Donnie? What did she do to deserve the highest civilian honor that you are too afraid to say out loud?
I know he’s just sucking up to her because he berated her recently, and it made the news. But really he’s just displaying how politicians usually feel about those who are in the military or are veterans, that warfighters are expendable tools. Look at how veterans are treated for getting benefits or disability.
IMO, Hawkish politicians in all countries should be mandated to have their own children serve in combat. You can’t call for conflict or sending out troops unless your own flesh and blood is on the line too. It’s too easy for politicians to become detached from reality and believe that they’re kings.
