I get it. Hit Trump's base because she's having success in moving weak Trump supporters. But anything that puts money into Fox's hands doesn't make me feel good.

Eh… Biden did the same thing several months ago and ran a Dark Brandon ad on their website during a Republican primary debate that they streamed.

The fact of the matter is they are a media outlet that tons of people watch for better or worse. And it’s not like they weren’t going to fill the airtime otherwise with some other advertisements.

Folding in some messaging for Harris-Walz doesn’t seem like a bad use of their campaign funds. Especially because the potential gains are so important. Undecided independents are super important, but removing folks from his base will help provide a mandate from the electorate.

I always sat around fantasizing what one could achieve if they could just get a few minutes to get an honest message out to Fox News viewers about the lies they are being told about Trump and the insurrection and various impeachment and all that good stuff... maybe some master hacker could do it?

...But apparently you can just buy a damn ad. WTF haven't they been doing this? I know it's money for Fox but they've literally got a giant cult at this point. i think some ads to stimulate the critical thinking portion of people's brains is a good investment at this point.

I wish I could go back to a time when I thought people could be swayed by logic and reason, especially in politics. I've seen too much to believe that any more.

Yeah, these people would probably need years of proper cult deprogramming therapy.

It helps that so few companies want to advertise with them anymore.
