I used to be pretty anti green day because they weren’t pink enough. The last few news articles I’ve seen they’ve really embodied punk in my eyes. I may not enjoy their older music but I’m loving what they stand for today.

They weren't exclusively anti establishment but they definitely let their opinions be known.
They're "not punk enough" in that they make a lot of money. They've "sold out" as people would say. I somewhat get the argument of "you aren't punk if you participate in their system" but also we're living under capitalism and everyone has to deal with it somehow.
So... Trump calls people stupid, then his supporters are up in arms when the guy is called an idiot. Okay?

I really do not like metal at all, but I saw a GWAR show for free at DragonCon in the 1990s and it was absolutely amazing. I don't know that I would go again myself, but it's a terrific show even if you're not a fan of the music.
