Rules for Posting Guides on Our Community

1. Defining a Guide Guides are comprehensive reference materials, how-tos, or comparison tables. A guide must be well-organized both in content and layout. Information should be easily accessible without unnecessary navigation. Guides can include flowcharts, step-by-step instructions, or visual references that compare different elements side by side.

2. Infographic Guidelines Infographics are permitted if they are educational and informative. They should aim to convey complex information visually and clearly. However, infographics that primarily serve as visual essays without structured guidance will be subject to removal.

3. Grey Area Moderators may use discretion when deciding to remove posts. If in doubt, message us or use downvotes for content you find inappropriate.

4. Source Attribution If you know the original source of a guide, share it in the comments to credit the creators.

5. Diverse Content To keep our community engaging, avoid saturating the feed with similar topics. Excessive posts on a single topic may be moderated to maintain diversity.

6. Verify in Comments Always check the comments for additional insights or corrections. Moderators rely on community expertise for accuracy.

Community Guidelines

By following these rules, we can maintain a diverse and informative community. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to the moderators. Thank you for contributing responsibly!

Wait those things contain cookies? I thought they were just for sewing supplies.

[–] meldrik@lemmy.wtf 6 points 1 month ago

It’s always 50/50.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Had to look at my sewing tin. LOL, it's a knockoff brand with the same exact cookies.

Came here looking for this comment.

I like cookies as much as the next guy, but isn't this more of an ad than a guide?

[–] metallic_substance@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago

Yes. Also, the letter labeling makes no fucking sense. There's no point to it

[–] JazzmanJosh@lemmy.wtf 9 points 1 month ago

I didn't realize they had different flavors lol

[–] ExtraMedicated@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

I got a tin of these for Christmas. They're all the same cookie.

[–] chemical_cutthroat@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I know some people hate on these things, but I fucking love them.

[–] BowtiesAreCool@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Same. I live for the vanilla ring

[–] chemical_cutthroat@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Sweet, I'll trade you for your Finnish Bread Cookies, then.

Vanilla ring is the only correct choice here

[–] TheOakTree@beehaw.org 1 points 1 month ago

It's always gonna be vanilla ring or pretzel for me, no exceptions

[–] rogermexico@mas.to 6 points 1 month ago

@partybot
They were supposed to be different?

I don't know if lemmy has an equivalent of r/hailcorporate, but if we don't, I think we're gonna need it about now

edit: !adfishing@lemmy.sdf.org <- ad

[–] ianhclark510@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 1 month ago

Good try, they’re all going on my balls

[–] friendly_ghost@beehaw.org 5 points 1 month ago

I'm noticing a crispy, buttery theme

[–] hellfire103@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 month ago

For most people, this will be the first time they've seen those biscuits. Every time anyone has opened a tin, there has been an exceedingly high chance that there's a sewing kit inside.

My issue is I fucking hate coconut. A and E are dangerously similar. Playing with fire eating these.

[–] Jarix@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I used to look forward to these at christmas every year, now i can only find fake/cheap royal dansk cookies.

[–] meldrik@lemmy.wtf 2 points 1 month ago

I’m a simple man. I see something Danish. I upvote.
