Ok seriously, what odds will some one give me that Vance doesn't stay as VP?

10 to 1?

I know its ridiculous. Its absolutely fucking ridiculous. Like they had the convention. This should be "done".

If any one is will to take it, I want 200 to 1 on a parlay that Vance both a) does not stay as VP, and that b), whoever he gets replaced with does even worse in the polls.

I'll put $20 down and this is free money for any one willing to take it.

if i had any money i;'d bet vance is in for good. trump's anus lickers are telling him right now how absolutely unbelievably absurdly stupid it would be to boot vance now, because if he did, take all the hilarious ridicule they're suffering right now, and multiply it by about a thousand. worldwide.

so the choice is: stick with mascara mountain muffin? or be seen as even MORE weak and MORE dumb than you already are? i think he'll keep couchfucker around. if only because peter thiel demands it

Trump doesn't care that people think he is dumb though

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Yeah idk man. I'm not saying you are wrong. I mean, I need a good odds ratio to get me to hand over my 20 bucks this easily.

I'm just saying after the first few events of Vances, I'm at least putting the possibility on the table.

And if you don't have any money, this is a great way to make an easy 20 bucks.

Would that be $2 from me if I lose?

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No if you take the bet and I lose, I owe you 20 bucks.

If Vance does not stay as VP, and whoever replaces him polls worse, you pay me 4000.

Its very easy money. Vance is definitely staying the VP. You should take the bet.

But also. DAMN Vance seems like shit on stage. Trumps gonna fucking HAAAAAATE that.

[–] Ashyr@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oh, yeah, no world in which I’m paying $4k for being wrong. Good on the other guy for taking your twenty. Good luck and I’ll be watching with interest.

I mean, its so fucking ridiculous to think Trump would swap out Vance.

But then.. would he?

He's crazy. And he HATES people who don't get ratings. That's like, his entire thing.

Watching that crowd hooting and hollering for coal country. Everyone in my extended family that was involved in coal mining did nearly everything possible to get their offspring the fuck OUT of that line of work. Hearing these magabrains hoot and holler for that...WTAF.

Vance took a hard look at where he came from and saw a self-destructive culture that had turned its back on its agency. He understood that economic forces were working against his community, but he bravely took that community to task for its self-imposed victimhood....

That bracing message took a 180-degree turn last week. And it’s no coincidence that Vance used the same speech in which he denigrated the idea of America to deny the agency he once subscribed to his fellow hillbillies. Suddenly, he was describing people who work with their hands in midwestern swing states as helpless victims with no responsibility for their plight. “America’s ruling class wrote the checks,” he said. “Communities like mine paid the price.”

Hey well at least he didn't fuck that couch. Well, allegedly he didn't.
