Now that Borderlands has hit the "streaming" services in high quality, I've watched it.

It's reasonable for a second screen show at 2x speed in the background. It might even get some popularity over time.

Does the film offer anything at all to people not familiar with the games?

I'll often watch terrible things just to see how bad they are but not without some other push to get me interested.

Honestly, it's better if you don't know anything about the games.

At least you don't have expectations that can be disappointed. If you don't know anything about the lore, then everything just is kind of oh and this and oh and this and oh and this and oh and this and oh my god that
