For me, genshin and Warframe... I was extremely lost. I quit both, felt like I missed so much.

@asklemmy What is up with people creating Communities and then not even posting a single post in them?

Like wouldn't you want to be able to grow a community by doing a post here and there, even just a welcome post to say why you created the community would make sense wouldn't it?

I'm satisfied with mine and I use it everywhere. How about you?

I keep hearing about him, it seems like he's involved with a lot of newer games?

I've seen reports and studies that show products advertised as including / involving AI are off-putting to consumers. And this matches what almost every person I hear irl or online says. Regardless of whether they think that in the long-term AI will be useful, problematic or apocalyptic, nobody is impressed Spotify offering a "AI DJ" or "AI coffee machines".

I understand that AI tech companies might want to promote their own AI products if they think there's a market for them. And they might even try to create a market by hyping the possibilities of "AI". But rebranding your existing service or algorithms as being AI seems like super dumb move, obviously stupid for tech literate people and off-putting / scary for others. Have they just completely misjudged the world's enthusiasm for this buzzword? Or is there some other reason?

i like watching "making-of" or "behind-the-scenes" featurettes and documentaries about the behind the scenes machinations of movie making, but in terms of literature, I'm not sure what to look for if i want to learn about the process Martha wells went through to conceive the murderbot diaries, for example.

i can search for making-of The Matrix and find documentaries, but not making-of project hail Mary and find similar literary results.

is there a section of literature like this?

should i be reading annotated editions?

thanks

Feel free to be economic with the truth by using aliases for organizations and products wherever it protects your privacy or your contracts. I'm mainly interested to hear about your unique experience.

Example follow-up questions: What was most rewarding, what was not? What was not a great use of your time but maybe still a learning experience? What were you interested when you were younger (for hobbies or otherwise) that may have helped guide you?

So they say that sitting too much shortens your life and all that. They also say that most of us sit incorrectly. I know I do. I constantly slide my butt forward and slouch. And I was thinking, what I need is a seat belt to keep me from sliding forward. But such a thing doesn't seem to exist. There must be some problem with them that I am missing. Since Lemmy has lots of desk jockeys, I figured I would ask here.

Another way for p2ping? How this thing works? Are there free search engines? Any client suggestion?

Making it 17+, changing cast and visuals don't count. Let's say it's live action with heavy CGI. What would be here for the main attraction, the plot, the cast of characters?

I like to rewatch some episodes featuring comic book characters like Batman VS Captain America and Hulk VS Doomsday expect for the Omni-Man VS Homelander fight...that one went horribly wrong.

That fight was graphic and disturbing and had two series (Invincible and The Boys) that I don't like because of how awful the fight was.

Hopefully other people are making other videos too.

I've heard of Batinthesun as an example so far but that's it.

It’s widely disliked.

I realize that mods for individual subs on different servers need to buy-in, that it’s not just a collective vote. The aim of asking here is the hope that we can get a discussion going and do a vibes check on the community at large.

Obviously in your opinion, which role videogame style is the best? Why you don't like the alternative? How does this affects LeBron's legacy?

Especially for those of us with no coding background, who can't just build/edit an app.

For example, I like using Gadgetbridge to replace my fitness tracker app: https://gadgetbridge.org/

It's not nearly as full-featured as a regular fitness app, but it literally can't connect to the internet so there's no way anyone can get my health info.
