Is she deemed as a contractor? Does the company file her taxes? Being paid or not paid based on outcome is usually somwthing i see on contracts which companies force people to become to skirt labour laws and make payment based on ourcome instead of hours.

This changes the answer for you, because the reason they do this is it puts the onus on you to make everyrhibg perfect becayse they are paying for a piece of work.

There are indeed laws that punish companies that do this however but is based on location and all that (fwiw im not a lawyer)

Apparently Ryujinx the switch emulator has been removed even though it used unique code and the speculation is the owner got paid off to delete it. Makes me wonder if they get you either one way or another

Unfortunately i think its becoming more a thing, so you have to be careful of future updates as some companies are realising they can put ads on your menu screen now

I would say managment should be individually fined by safe work commission for creating an unsafe work environment. But considering Japans long history of mental health issues and work, im unfortunately not expecting much.

My guess is either your location or notifications. I'm guessing the first assuming the site isn't just an outright scam.

Lol you'd be surprised. Sometimes it doesn't even come from a bad place.

My ex (ages ago) wanted to understand and support my culture better, so she went out and watched Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift.

Likkeeeee I appreciate the effort but bruuuhh I'm Filipino. Wtf.

Some people just grow up thinking "Asian is Asian".

Absolutely disgusting. Im so happy i traded away my xbox and am done with the company.

Anti Competition commisioner or government agency should directly fine the corporation for breach of compeition law agreed on during purchase of these IPs.

My trainer is teaching me balintawak, but really its a cross of a lot of things, he really loves learning martial arts and i can see hes spent years and years and years on it. His holidays is literally going to countries to learn and try their martial arts really.

But unlike other classes he teaches me in the park (its 1:1 lessons as he stopped classes during covid).

But it got me thinking, what makes a trainer "a professional". Both personally and legally.

I know some areas like boxing or karate they likely have some sort of foundation/club/organisation maybe you can register too?

I guess this is coming up because im learning weapons training now, and we can carry training weapons if there is good rrason too (like for training) but would a police officer see a guy in a park and agree hes a trainer. And to add to that, should i believe him?

I cant deny though, my stickfighting, swordfiighting, fist fighting and grapple work has extraordinarily increased. So i cant deny there is skill there and i am learning.

So i guess what makes someone a professional martial artist teacher? How do you tell compared to someone whose just sat on youtube too much. And should i be worried?
