His power only works in his forest. Outside it he would be no better than a common man.

That's interesting, I've never heard about this aspect of the character before. Where is it mentioned? One of Tolkien's letters maybe? Thanks in advance for any info!

Extreme Holocaust denial sometimes comes in the form of "the holocaust didn't happen, but it should've". I'm unclear as to how his blackness might play into an opinion like this - I'm sure it's somehow even more devoid of logical thought.

Personally I'm inclined not to ask such questions, for that way lies madness

I suspect this is about the silmarils and not the rings

Not only making things available to the masses, I think "democratizing" would be a better word for that intent.

"Weaponizing" something like this specifically has a connotation of danger or harm to some (unspecified) target.

In this context of copy/pasting stackoverflow answers without understanding them (a practice Considered Harmful), it was previously something that required intent to do. Now your editor will instantly suggest solutions to you and all you have to do is press the tab key to accept unknown lines of code.

Yea that's why metal fuckin rules. We got the ugliest guys ever altogether in one room and said "what you got?" and they became legends

And for anyone that might say that doesn't happen anymore, I ask: how many open mic nights or $20 shows have you been to lately? The scene is doing great in my area, but it doesn't happen by magic. Ya gotta support it, spread the word, bring your friends.

Well that sounds fuckin useless. Every place causes cancer too.

California is a large enough economy - especially in the entertainment industry - lead the country and pass a meaningful law!

Revisiting Ti West's amazing flick with a little Joe Bob commentary and caught this tidbit in the Special Thanks.

About 1.5 to 2 inches across. Found in Santa Cruz, CA

Edit: Thanks all for your responses!

New track out today. The video has them running around the woods, hiding from a cryptid frog/man hybrid, playing drums on a log. You know, usual stuff.

Spotify link

Apparently this is the title track to a movie being released soon (maybe also today?) according to the band's instagram

I've been listening to Froglord a lot lately and after looking through a few posts in this community I thought you fine folk might appreciate it
