They couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel

Do you have a source for this? (Non-aggressive tone)

Kringwinkels are a goldmine for stuff like this. We oftentimes get crates at a time, chockful of Weck jars, canning jars, and the ones with the rubber seal and metal wire closing mechanism. We can't get rid of them fast enough because (almost) no one will buy them, even at 50 cents.

If your local Kringwinkel doesn't seem to have any, ask the staff, chances are they're immediately recycling them rather than having them collect dust on the shelves.

It was mostly a throwaway joke, I have no idea who they are. It was an interesting conversation filled with good points discussing the topic at hand, and then they ended with a strawman argument to talk shit on "mediocre white men" out of the blue. It's not my fault for thinking it undercut their arguments, they're the one that wrote it.

Can I oppose the use of AI in art even if I don't hate white men?

I don't know much about how any of this stuff works, so these are honest questions in good faith. But how did Bluesky know, before this change, that I clicked a link? Am I not just telling my browser to visit a website? I don't really understand how it's different from me copy-pasting the URL manually.

Is this the same Big Rigs from Yogscast's Truckin' Tuesdays fame?

I got this Book of Kells one when I was in Dublin a few years ago. €40 for a standard, genuine leather wallet is alright. I'm not sure if the brand has a website of their own, but that storefront is located in Ireland.

Dr. Pepper is my guilty pleasure, but mostly due to the cost nowadays. I can't justify spending €5/l on soda when off-brand coke zero is less than a tenth of that. Any suggestions?

Hello! I recently switched to LineageOS and have been enjoying it fine. However, certain apps just refuse to work without engoogling them, sadly, and I need help doing it without making my entire phone a google-shaped target.

I've tried installing the apk's manually or getting them through Aurora (once I got that to work), but no dice, they invariably give me some error code at the last hurdle, seemingly indicating a reliance on the services I'm trying not to install.

The alternative is keeping my SIM-less old phone around, the apps still work. I'm not sure how, considering they're tied to my phone number. I don't need those apps every day, so it wouldn't be a huge bother, I'm just worried it'll stop working after a while, and then I'm SOL.

I checked the info in the sidebar, but the relevant part of the guide links to a page that is still under construction.

I just want to hide content in @lemmynsfw.com from showing up on my global feed. I like tiddies as much as the next guy, but that's why I have the other account, y'know.
