Ok makes sence but im still relying on the agrigation service acting in good faith. I dont trust anything that isnt my computer. Even with context this is a bad look and not helping Firefox's cause when people start screaming about it without context.

Come on guys lets just fix fingerprinting ik the standard is to make every device identical but thats never gonna work and sounds like an easy way to track anyone who hardens more than default settings. We need to have eveey browser generate different data for every test for everything makw so much noise the signal is imperceptible.

Got failed for a programming test. Discovered during the practice tests that it was a vm that would run your code for a variety of test cases. Turns out it was a linux vm and said test cases and answer where in a big plain text file that was accessible by the program when being run. Wrote a universal solver that simply read the file checked which case was being checked and returned the correct answer. Got given zero for cheating.

Cos if so why can I see a whole bunch of mod actions on the lemmy.ml mod-log but not here? If it doesn't how/why would any other instance respect a moderation action by another instance let alone know about it?

Conceptually why have we made distinctions between property and intellectual ownership? and within that why does some intellectual property expire after a time and why do different things expire after different times? Are there some intellectual properties we cannot own like though itself? I guess essentially what I'm asking is why have we classified these differently and how have we justified that?
