Okay, I'm convincing myself he really doesn't realize that he isn't running against Nikki Haley again.

She was Indian, now all of a sudden she's black (Harris's father is Jamaican, her mother was from Chennai, Haley's parents were both Punjabi)

Nobody knows her last name (Harris has always been Harris, but Haley's maiden name was Randhawa)

Seems like a situation where you can both go after him criminally for the sexual assault and civilly for the malpractice. Then the alleged rapist goes to prison and you get all his malpractice insurance company's money (albeit split 94 ways)

They usually justify it by saying it's to prevent the tyranny of the majority (two wolves and a sheep biting on dinner).

But a case could be made that it's a way to keep the elite entrenched.

If this country had a proper labor party, it would be foolish for a union to endorse the Democratic party.

But when the alternative is the party that has mandated (in many states) that union shops employ non-dues-paying scabs-to-be, union organizers would be fools not to endorse the Democratic candidate.
