Sounds good but I don't want to waste time watching a video when I could just look at 7 lines of text within a couple of seconds

I haven't seen an amp link in years. I thought that shit is dead

Regarding denmark. Found on the red web

We say: to og halvfems which literally translates to two and ninety. Halvfems is just the word for ninety. The root of the word originates from a base 20 way of counting where the root of the English word ninety (9x10) originates from a base 10 way of counting. Its not like we do any math that way anymore, it's literally just a word that through time has been shortened a bit. The full word would be halvfemsindstyvende like the full word for ninety would be nine tens

I use it as well

Is there any other font that has that variety of ligatures?

It's time to replace that old crap

Yes, but he could've copy pasted the title.

You could've changed the main title to something like "programming the declaration of independence" or "programming like it's 1750"

He mocks op. The gag is not the font anymore.

only admins can access this information, which makes it harder for users to report such behaviour to them.

This sounds like a user wants to become an admin

Since everything is public anyway, for me it begs the question: why hide it in the first place?

Some day, someone will write a tool/bot where you can enter a user/ sub and get all votes.

Currently only the technical people can see it, in the future, people with money will see it because they pay for such a service. Or someone will open an instance where you can see it.

I understand that there is a big dilemmy and I am glad that I am not in a position to decide upon a solution.

Btw, can only instance admins see their votes or all voting behaviors?

Yes! It's bonkers that they did not yet do it

I also think that they should work with the same backend and similar frontend. But they rather pay 5 people do to the same job

That's why you can't just boot from an usb

Nice, I didn't know that. Unfortunately, I have to use deepl/linguee in "a lot" of cases

I don't want to see an ad for twitter or discord. How can I disable it?

I've been using the terminal for 5 years.

99% of attempts at keeping valuable code snippets failed. Or having a useful command history.

Finally, I looked up how to send a line to terminal.

I use vscode since Atom was discontinued (looking forward to zed). But in the meanwhile, I just added

{
    "key": "ctrl+enter",
    "command": "workbench.action.terminal.runSelectedText",
    "when": "terminalProcessSupported && editorTextFocus && editorLangId =~ /shell|bash|zsh|fish/"
  }

Maybe it helps someone :)

With this, I can finally keep a history of all useful commands I run. Like I can have a systemd shell file where I store the commands that I ran. Or a file to store all my podman commands. Now I do not have to type them anymore, I can just run them.

I've got a mini pc which is running always and another one which consumes a lot more power for e.g. jellyfin.

Can I configure it such that the jellyfin server only boots if I connect to it? E.g. I try to connect to jellyfin.y.com and then the server boots because the mini pc tries to connect to it.

I already figured out how to let it sleep automatically as soon as nobody is watching.

Edit: can I add the magic package to the reverse proxy?

Hey guys,

I need some advice. I'd like to hike for a month this summer. I'm just an average person.

Walking the Camino is easy, no risk, no planning, no experience needed. You just walk as much as you want each day.

In the alps I have to carefully plan each day because of my limited experience, hiking alone, weather, body limits and time restrictions.

Enjoying the alps is much more rewarding I guess but I don't think that I am physically able to hike one month in the alps. 1 or even 2 rest days per week and not too challenging routes.

Can someone recommend one over the other?

That looks really cool
