It's really scary over here and only going to get worse. I didn't hear a single word for our trans brothers and sisters at the May Day protest I briefly attended. I managed to stomach about thirty minutes of the hour and a half affair, and while the topics of conversation went extensively through everything else Trump had done, like his attacks on migrants, federal workers, and the economy, his attacks on trans rights weren't brought up once.

Modern America is what happens when you completely suppress all leftist voices for generations. You can't be too surprised that nobody alive knows how to fight back, our government either imprisoned or killed everyone who could. In a real country, you'd have labor unions coordinating to ensure not only that protests received turnout, but also that the workers could protest without fear of losing everything in their lives. That is frankly never going to happen here.

If you are an immigrant, that means you successfully managed to leave from one country to another once. I would highly recommend trying to do so again. When peaceful protest fails, it makes violent protest inevitable, and when that occurs the U.S will be even less safe than it is now.
