So every Israel aka genocide supporter had a safe vote with Trump. Everyone who opposes it had no choice with either party.

Now the blue MAGA is talking about the election being stolen...

Seriosuly how did you expect to win against Trump by copying Trump? People always chose the original authoritarian nazi asshole over the knock-off copy.

You know what wouldnt have worked in Trumps favor? Stopping the genocide in Gaza. That would have led to a landslide victory for the Dems.

So not voting for genocidal candidates now make genocide support? stop projecting.

The Dems were hellbent on supporting gneocide. People chose to be fine with it, even attacking people who called it out.

The flak we got here for saying for months the Dems need to stop the genocide support to win the election now raises the question whether they were just tactically wrong, or whether they werent really into the genocide themselves. That would explain why now there is efforts to project it on the other people.

At every turn we were told that supporting genocide is better than supporting genocide and homophobia. Saying we should push for a non genocidal candidate, for which there was plenty of time at first, got immediately shut down.

The most consistent position of the Biden/Harris fans was to accept genocide, because that was the strongest criticism raised consistently against them. Now you end up not only having lost the election but having lost the election because you were in support of genocide.

It is no wonder that Trump managed to win, when the center is so morally bankrupt. It is no wonder that there was no way to inspire people to vote for Harris and Biden if the messaging constantly was "yeah we are morally bankrupt and we are also genociders and racists, but we are less than the other side. This is as good as we allow to happen".

This is on the Democrat elites and their supporters. Own up to it instead of projecting the blame.

But these "lets poll and analyse who to peddle to" strategy has been a failure for two of the past three elections. People are tired of getting managed messages instead of a coherent platform.

Less people voted Trump in 2024 than in 2020. It is not that Trump won, it is that Biden/Harris lost hard.

Trump: 74 Mio. in 2020, 73 Mio. in 2024

Biden/Harris: 81 Mio. in 2020, 69 Mio. in 2024

Seems like people on the less right side of politics also got tired after the whole "we need to stop Trump or democracy ends" messaging led to an underwhelming / genocidal and dementia struck president

There were 14 Presidents since FDR. And many of the Democratic ones had ample possibility to enact progressive laws and chose not to.

You keep claiming that people like Clinton, Obama, Clinton, Biden or Harris are "left", but they are center-right, in many aspects far right by European standards.

People don't vote "perfect" also not on the left. They vote "this is current issues, who addresses these issues?" Trump pretending to care about working class people helped him. Biden/Harris made a point of alienating everyone that is against genocide, which should be a nobrainer for progressive politics, and also peddling racist messages with bragging about their deportation numbers.

The idea that the center to far right Democrats would actually bring any leftist solution is laughable. They haven proven time and time again, that they are the party of maintaining the neoliberal and imperial status quo.

The solution is to offer a progressive solution against the reactionary solution, so people can rally around your progressive solution. Providing no solution and denying the problems is a surefire way to demotivate and disengage people. Someone who wants genocide, deportations and neoliberal economics can always vote the Republicans. And the Republicans can succesfully further the image of the Democrats being the billionaire cultural elite party, while the Reps are the billionaire "hard working" party, peddling the lie of the American dream. But it can be peddled to Joe and Jose in the milling plant.

If "democracy" means i cant pay my bills and my relatives get slaughtered overseas, it seems a pretty lame thing to hold on to.

And that is again a big failure. People all things considered dont care about democracy as a virtue in itself. They care about economic and social security and a prospect of personal developmemt and social participation. contrary to the popular stories revolutions rarely were fought over political participation. They were fought over empty stomaches and lack of housing.

Trump understood to pretend to care about these problems of the people. Harris lowkey denied them existing.

So we are now in MAGA election rigging conspiracies? JFC. Trump even won the popular vote.

Look at the 2020 popular vote. Trump got 74 Mio. votes back then and 72 Mio. Now

The Dems went from 81 Mio. to 67 Mio.

The Dems succesfully fucked this up with uninspiring candidates and lack of vision to rally their voters.
