It actually makes sense as a campaigning song to me as long as your platform is about trying to address the social problems the song is highlighting.

I'd assume it's pretty common in America.

Something I like to do is look at my room as if I were an archaeologist or detective trying to build a profile on myself. It's a different way of framing how you see yourself.

If you and your friends have YouTube/Google accounts you'll get recommendations based on what your friends watch and search for.

Probably because your brain subconsciously does color correction (similar to optical illusions) that you don’t notice until you have a direct comparison.

I assumed "weird" was used intentionally as an understatement for comedic effect.

It's different for everyone, but some people will only admit they're wrong to compassionate people.

People will fight their enemies, but they're willing to let their guard down among friends.

I think that's one of the reasons why MLK Jr got killed. His enemies didn't know how to fight him or his beliefs. He forced people to view each other as humans and that's a tough pill to swallow for people who don't have a capacity to give or ask for forgiveness.

Two weeks? I feel like 9 months minimum.

Good point.

Making sure people are engaged at state and local levels is really important.

I like how in Trump's world he thinks he needs to explain the internet to people.

I'd say it's a stretch given the nature of first past the post two party elections and strategic voting. But who knows. Anything could happen.

It's not so bad being the worst player on the team. Just means you have a lot of room for improvement as long as you're willing to learn. Honestly it's one of my favorite situations to find myself in. "Oh I suck. How can I get better?"

What if there were voice chat channels you could join in a thread to discuss posts? The idea would be to give people a richer way of communicating instead of just typing comments and replies.

Update: I just realized what I really wanted was to have a conversation, so I'm going to get off the internet and actually go talk to people in the real world.

If what they believe is true, one day they may be forced to realize their mistakes.
