That's not untrue though... Putting rocks on your sound system could make the rocks vibrate against it and sound like utter shit.

Wander! What happen?! I don't have any way of getting into contact with anyone in charge of the instance (until y'all approve my mastodon account anyway). Sometimes I get a database error when trying to open the site and I'm kinda worried. πŸ˜₯

I am so hyped for this. Look at all the new shit! Havel's back! You can do kung fu! What's up with the dual wielded throwing knives? Weird monsters! New locations! And possibly a new boss to rival Malania! 🀯

Lemme see your transcripts, Doc. I ain't trusting my life to anything less than an A+, honor roll student.

Just randomly started thinking about the first time in the original Sims game how I made a gay couple by making 2 polar opposites male sims, sticking them in a house they couldn't leave together and just making them flirt until they woohoo'd.

One was a big tough jock and the other a wimpy Poindexter nerdy boy. After they woohoo'd, the jock cheered and the nerd cried.

From my secondary account so those who may have already blocked me can see because fuck you.

So I saw this new option that would put suggestions into my already made playlists. I tried it; didn't like it because it kept mixing my normal music with my sleep music. I turned off the setting, but it still keeps blending suggestions into my playlists.

How the hell do I stop it? 😩

I'm not even done with Act 1 and I have run into a ton of bugs that make me wonder if I did a sequence break or something, and other little niggling issues.

  • I can't cast light on my own character.
  • Several animals won't let me use Animal Friendship on them saying they aren't beasts (worgs, rothe, etc; any animal actually used against me in combat apparently isn't a "beast")
  • Cutting Words keeps getting triggered by my own party members and never by the enemy.
  • My bonus actions keep getting eaten without any reason.
  • All the effects that are supposed to activate when I miss an attack don't actually go off.
  • Dialogues sometimes seem like I should have something or have done something to get the dialogue options I have, because they make little to no sense in context with what I have done previously.
  • Perception checks often reveal things that don't get marked/highlighted, or are rolled again on traps and things I've already taken care of.
  • Lae'zel, and ONLY Lae'zel, constantly get stuck in a broken bit of dialogue forcing me to reload a save when it's her turn in combat sometimes.

Still having a fun time, but boy do these things irk me.

I still would be stuck right where I am. 😠

I'm thinking about all the times I got into a group and felt off about the group for a while but couldn't put my finger on why until one or more people in the group come out as massively racist pieces of shit.

There are probably so many subtle signs a racist, or victim of racism, would notice that I simply don't because I am neither of those things. A few times, I've even questioned things I thought were odd but the racists lie and tell me it's nothing while non-racists call me racist for asking the question "in bad faith" so I am left ignorant and confused as fuck sometimes.

This is relevant because I really want to escape that bullshit and not end up associated with dickheads unwittingly by getting into communities of them that are really good at being subtle with their hate and with moving to a new platform along with so many others, there's bound to be some turds in the punchbowl.

And does it bother you seeing it often? Because I comment a lot and everywhere.

Just fair warning to the rest of the 'verse.

I understand how to code... To an extent. I know syntax and can solve problems given a set of tools (such as source code, functions, etc). I've made mods and basic programs (literally and figuratively), but I've never messed with internet stuff other than networking and mostly on the hardware side.

I don't expect to make anything that will catch on, but maybe I can make a perfectly adapted thing for my own personal use. Would it be a good learning experience, or would jumping from modding and making, like, a DnD character sheet generator into making a front end for a website/service be a bit of an undertaking?

I was a comment fiend on Reddit, and now I shall be one on Lemmy. And it's so much easier to be king of the comments when the comments are mostly empty. 😏

I'm just messing around with this stuff. I used Reddit to just comment and talk to others more than really looking at posts. The posts were just a kicking off point, really.

But it was all so... Anonymous. I was there 10 years and didn't really make a friend. Maybe I can find friends here, in my own little community.

IDK WTF I'll post though... Other than random-ass thoughts and scribblings, I'm not a memer or anything. Most likely, I'll probably just use this space to vent.
