It's extremely rare that I turn down a cup of coffee.
Honestly, the Russian invasion of Ukraine was probably the last major news event I actually paid significant attention to. The constant firehose of bad news has made me pretty apathetic. Even serious events - ones that aren’t minor at all - just end up feeling like yet another distant dumpster fire I have no control over. So I scroll past them and get on with my life. The world was supposed to have ended already - yet here we are. I just can’t bring myself to feel that sense of urgency anymore, unless it’s something as immediate and personal as Russia trying to invade my country next.
Except it’s not the same thing. Spoiled refers to milk that has gone bad due to age or improper storage. That’s not what the swill milk scandal was about. It was milk that was bad to begin with - not spoiled, just poor quality because it came from sick animals.
For fuck’s sake, this whole “we need to live peacefully with our neighbors” rhetoric is pure garbage. They’re trying to pull that “oh, we just need to coexist” crap, but that’s a load of bullshit. We’re not talking about disagreements over taxes here. We’re talking about a group built on lies and corruption, poisoning the roots of our nation and threatening everything we’ve worked for.
This isn’t about “different ideas on how to build a society.” These people live in a fantasy world, manipulating the media, the economy, and the schools. They don’t care about our culture, our history, or our future. You can’t “understand” someone who undermines the moral fabric of the country and destroys our unity from the inside. That’s not a belief - it’s a threat.
And this whole “tolerance” nonsense? Please. You don’t tolerate a parasite. That’s not virtuous - that’s weak. Some ideas are poison. Some people are too far gone. Pretending otherwise just enables the collapse.

In big cities like New York, some dairies fed cows leftover grain mush from distilleries, called swill. The cows were sick, the milk was watery and bluish, and to make it look normal, some sellers added stuff like chalk, flour, even plaster. It wasn’t about hiding spoiled milk like you suggest - it was about making terrible milk from unhealthy cows seem drinkable.
Framing one half of the population as beyond saving or inherently evil is not just lazy - it’s historically dangerous. It reduces millions of individuals into a caricature and gives people permission to treat them with contempt, as if that’s somehow virtuous. That kind of thinking has been used to justify some of the worst things we’ve done to each other as humans.
When you actually talk to people outside your bubble, you quickly realize that most of us want the same basic things - stability, safety, meaning, a fair shot in life. We just have different beliefs about how to get there. Writing off entire groups as irredeemable only erodes any future possibility of understanding or change.
I think the saying “if more money wouldn’t change the way you live your life, then you’re already rich” applies to me pretty well. I don’t think my life would be all that different. Maybe I’d spend more time working on my own projects instead of customers’, but generally speaking, there’s nothing I’m not doing because of financial limitations.
My ultimate goal, though, would be to buy a small old farm with some land and spend the rest of my adult life working on that.
I think LG V10 was peak-smartphone for me - at least design-wise.
That's why I always have 120 litres of diesel stored at home in jerrycans plus what ever is left in the tank. If the shit ever hits the fan and I need to get away quick then the gas station is among the last places I want to go fist fighting to.
As an anecdotal note I must mention that my lawnmower works just fine with gasoline that's over a year old.
The bike has over 7,000 km on it, and this was still the original front tire, while the rear one has already been replaced twice. I got lucky - the tire I had been eyeing on was 60% off, so I managed to get two for the price of one.
The new one is 5.05" wide, compared to the original 4.8". It fits the front just fine, but I’ll have to see if it works on the rear once the current tire wears out. I’d really like to get this wider tire on the rear too - I love how mean it looks.
The knobs on this Snowshoe 2XL variant are almost twice the length of those on the Avalanche model on the right (when new). I bet that, combined with studs, it would give infinite traction on just about any kind of snow or ice.
It's not the first iteration and probably wont be the last either but now atleast they're all in one place.
