~~You can federate and respond but not really follow.~~

I have only observed Lemmy->Mastodon and Mastodon->Lemmy

If I follow a community, in mastodon it will show as boosts and will show Title + link to the original post with all the comments also as boosts. It has some probability of working. Not always. I couldn't get hashtags to work.

If someone mentions some lemmy community it will get federated into that community but only into first mentioned community. The first line of a microblog will be set as a title. When users write hashtags and mentions first, it will be unreadable. Not all replies will get federated back and forth.

P.S. I have seen kbin [R.I.P] (Long Live Mbin) posts on lemmy and it worked good

Ridicule from peers. - Anecdotal evidence: there was a streamer that found herself in a situation where a guy tried to ask a other girl out. Instead of congratulating him on his braveness or pitying him for rejection, the streamer choose to laugh at his absurd circumstances where he got rejected in front of thousands of people. Even if she wanted to pity him, this moment sends a message that discourages asking girls out.

I think more important is compute per watt and idle power consumption than raw max compute power.

I think therapy is good path to follow.

If you don't want to spend money you could try DIY it but if someone will show you how to use tools for introspective like journaling and emotional averness it will be much easier to start.

You wrote in other comment that:

I want to be busy.

Maybe you should do the opposite. Be bored and see what your mind will do with boredom. Try to do it for a decent about of time like an hour. Maybe you will discover something surprising about yourself.

So I have a bug fix (green) and owner also made a bug fix (red) but I would like to rework both of them due to discussion we had. I have opened a PR and there is merge conflict that can't be resolved. Should I open a new branch in my fork and close PR or should I google some rebase magic to apply commits to my bug-fix branch.

We have over thousand instances and a bunch of them are caching the same images as other instances. Wouldn't it be nice for users to get image from the closest instance? We already have a lot of data overlap and we would need to „just” implement protocol to find the same data and retrieve it to the user.
