What’s the connection with the original post?

Believe me I am well aware of that. I just thought the irony too god to stay quiet.

3D printing, cleaning some forever chemicals while making a fuckton of microplastics.

(I know this is ceramic, I’m talking about 3D printing in general)

I’m okay with image processing in the screen, by smart, I mean with a media platform and apps installed on the screen. I have two Roku TV that are now unusable even as a screen because the recent Roku software updates made the whole tv sluggish as hell even to simply turn on to an input like HDMI. It’s baaaaaad. Image processing on the other hand no biggie (as long as it’s not this motion flow shit)

If connected via HDMI, no. But your TV might be able to act as a remote control for your Chromecast. No internet data via HDMI.

That’s why I said keep notes. Recount the event with timestamp. If things continue or get worse you now have a file with all occurrences. And if you get fired for calling out HR, that’s an easy lawsuit.

I miss dumb TV. I would pay more for a dumb OLED TV. Then add the media box of your choice, be it an Apple TV, a Raspberry Pi or whatever…

It’s been a months since 1.0.7 and the app still has bugs that need to be fixed. I’m hesitant to pay for the next month of pro without any progress. Meanwhile Voyager gets multiple updates per week…

A while back I had done this study for upvote/downvote colors in each apps. Avelon seems to be in the right spot, but an option to customize the colors would be nice maybe…

I looked at the Apple’s website and noticed that they were giving focal lengths for each camera but no sensor size. On one of their camera they give the focal length and field of view. So I took my P-Cam app (a cinematographer app to do camera and lenses math) and for a camera to have a focal length of 13mm and a field of view of 120°, the sensor size should be about the size of film IMAX 65mm cinema camera. 13mm on a 35mm still camera would give an 80° field of view and you would need a 10.39mm lens to get to 120° and a 1mm focal length on a 1.4” sensor.

So how are they measuring those focal lengths?

When you tap a message in your mailbox, it doesn’t take you to the message in the context of the post. The issue is that it seems to try to find the message, but then loads more comments which pushes it out of the screen and I have to scroll up or down to fin it again. It should first load all comments then scroll automatically to the desired one.

I took a WaveShare RP2040-Touch-LCD-1.28and made a program to use it as a touchscreen. This is still very much in the beta phase but the proof of concept works. Here’s my GitHub repo for it.

I’m planning on integrating it into my next split near the thumb cluster.
