Cradlewise. At least that is a one time $120 fee and you don’t need an additional app subscription to use it, for now. It might get worse as the first set of users are just starting to sell theirs, as it’s useless after 2 years.

For Pelaton, it’s reactivation fee + app subscription.

Haha. I’m a mechanical engineer and I completely agree with you.

Sometimes there are 5 email responses in a chain with long comments from different people. I just want to have a 5 min call to sort it out. Also, I get a lot of emails while in a meeting and later need to get to work instead of checking all my emails. If you need something urgent, pick up the phone and call me or wait for a week until I clear my inbox.

Corporations still find loopholes and pay nearly no taxes… If corporations and Billionaires paid their taxes just like common folks, the country would make a lot more in taxes.

Because most people don’t care about it. My family wants the AirPods and buys the cheapest one as the basic AirPods is usually on sale.

You tip because they don’t make a minimum wage. I don’t get a tip when I do my work at my job. I certainly would be motivated to do a lot better if I got a tip after every meeting. I worked as a delivery driver and I did expect tips because I barely made money doing the deliveries but can’t expect it if I’m making a living wage.

Regardless, there has never been a tax for dining. State taxes are in single digits and varies across states. Maybe you added a very generous tip which doubled your bill and you are calling that as dining tax.

Right? That’s how we get grilled in interviews. We can’t get away with general statements without answering the question, but somehow no one asks a presidential candidate the same follow-up questions.

I don’t think anyone is saying that chromecast as a “functionality” is being killed. It’s not the same product, the new one is a set top box compared to the current dongle, with better specs and 3 times the price. People would buy multiple chromecast dongles to have it all around their house or to carry it when traveling. Now, many will not do it with this set top box.

They kept the same name and functionality but definitely “killed” the old product - chromecast dongle which everyone knows as chromecast.

But it went from a dongle to a set top box for more than 3 times the price. It’s not really the same device, just similar functionality.

I got a watch band bought from Amazon for $10, as a Christmas gift. It was the wrong size so I ordered one from Aliexpress. The packaging and the sticker with Chinese lettering were exactly the same as the Amazon one and it was only about $1. Sure, the Amazon package came sooner but it was evident that it was the same product.
