Not only that, he has to, it's the only way he can postpone or cancel his impending criminal convictions.

Besides that, for the people pushing his movement it currently is the only option to seat a king and solidify a path for his family to inherit the throne.

So I fully expect a lot of trouble around the elections, from lawsuits to riots and open hostilities, and will be very surprised if it all goes fairly peacefully.

Not so secret anymore after Trump sold the information....

This is getting stranger and stranger.

It's so strange, the olympics are all about excellence and striving for being the best, but swimming in polluted water is deemed ok and almost shrugged at.

Not sure what kind of morals those are, but they definitely do not belong to a truely civilized society.

I read the title, and it left me thinking it was about Ukrainian POWs returned from Russia without their organs, like I read about recently.

It seems the US does not even need such circumstances.

Utter depravity. I do not have other words for it anymore.

He's already been told he has "the votes" now and has won. So if that turns out not to be happening the closer we get to November's results, to him it will be a purely fraudulent steal.

It would be hilarious if all three showed up at the debate location (if it even happens) to show support to Harris, I think the orange man would blue screen. :-D

The result of the US elections are the tipping point either way for the whole world, and every country is awaiting what will happen.

One side drops the world in misery, from the full destruction of Ukraine and it's people, to an intense war in the EU and the Koreas.Taiwan as a country will cease to exist, as will its chip production. Not to mention the deep scarring that will take place within the US itself where it will see the Constitution torn up. America First, but as a consequence it loses power and status everywhere else for years to come.

The other possibility is that starting in 2025 the current big worldwide conflicts will be resolved semi peacefully, a slow growth to more financial prosperity and equality sets in plus a number of billionaires will need to pay some of their taxes, but international treaties and trades will be reinforced.

I am really hoping for the latter, because if the outcome is the first, we'll see a least a decade of chaos and economic downfall everywhere.

So, my choice is made, it will be better in 2025

At this point I believe they will ignore/disavow any voting result that does not benefit them, even if it was an overwhelming result.

These things are small experimentation gardens, big corporations are looking at these setups with interest:

It reduces overhead costs on their end, no printer costs, no paper costs, less personnel-hours needed since the customer does all the work by sorting out their own menu, adding their own email adress, and inserting their order in the system.

It might lead to the next step in ordering fast food (on site), customers ordering on their own phone (email login required) and using qr codes to transfer them to the local restaurant's ordering kiosk...

Ofcourse the savings will only be on the corporate side and the actual food will just keep getting more expensive for the customers.

Now for the receipt thing, I don't know the exact rules, but a written receipt must be provided if the customer asks for one. A "pin" receipt, ie. validation of payment is not a legal item to be used for tax deduction because it does not list what you bought nor the amount of tax, not sure if both percentage and the amount must be present.

It sounds a bit like you went inside a place that was a startup by some "students" with bright new ideas that were not fully thought out yet. They easily go for the bottom line in costs saving by dropping staff costs as much as they can, probably corrects itself over some time.
