For sure, that makes sense. I was just curious if you had noticed any added functionality

Do you feel like it improves on evince in any way? I saw it a while back but it didn't look too different imo

This is the first time I’ve heard of mTLS. Sounds interesting, any tutorial recs?

Just myself, but I would like to keep it synced between my phone and my laptop while also keeping a backup.

I self-host a couple of services, but I haven’t exposed anything outside my home network. I want to self-host my calendar, but not sure if I can do it without exposing it. Any recommendations on the best way to go about this? For those who do self-host a calendar service, how do you keep it secure?

I use a similar set up. Librewolf on Linux and IronFox on Android. You could still use a Firefox account to sync, but I wouldn’t. I’ve heard there’s a way to host an older version of Firefox sync locally, but I haven’t looked into it.

Title says it all. Any recommendations for a self-hosted service to store and organize academic papers? Ideally with the capacity to manage citations as well?

UPDATE: I’m going to use jabref for now while I try to get dspace set up. I’ll keep the thread updated for anyone interested in this in the future. Thanks y’all!

For the VPN, check out gluetun. Route your torrenting client container through this to funnel all the traffic through a VPN of your choice. I use this for my server.

Love breadonpenguins, she def inspired me too, I’m talking about DWL tho, like the Wayland fork of DWM. I had some issues w the dependencies they had listed.
